I think she is super conservative and will marry another republican. She may dump him but she won't change parties. She is a west texas republican who worked for Bush for many years. No way she would leave the GOP. Having a husband who humiliates you on national tv? I think she will dump him. He is scum. |

Demographics. All old white men. And all three (& more) are liable to say something stupid. See Grahams Chris Wallace interview Sunday, Kennedy’s CNN hits. These guys just want to get to a vote, and being on TV with her the day before can only hurt. They know they don’t get #metoo and that will come out if they confront her. |

They think she will get more sympathy if she is questioned by a group that is exclusively old and male than if she is questioned by a single female. |

This isn't a criminal proceeding. I am not sure why they would possibly want to have a criminal prosecutor question her. I think the senators should have to do it themselves, but they are scared it will hurt them if they do question her themselves. |

I think she wants him to withdraw so they can just go back to their old life. And can you imagine trying to explain this to and/or shield your daughters from this? She just wants this nightmare to be over. |
