Um, the facts on the ground have changed?

The only thing that's changed is your level of crazed desperation. Good luck with that!

The crazed desperation today was from Mitch McConnell with his “NOT ONE STEP BACK” speech.

And what a HORRIBLE fox news interview. He just about sunk whatever is left of the ship on that one. It will live in infamy, long after he’s flipping burgers. His wife looked at him with sheer loathing. It’s over.

The appearance on Fox had to be a Bill Shine special. It was a truly horrible miscalculation to put Kavanaugh out there like that. He was clearly lying, and he doesn't come off as sympathetic.

Statement from the American Psychological Association. Here’s an excerpt:

“While memory of past day-to-day events is often poor, research has shown that memory of traumatic events is stored differently in the brain,” according to Daniel. “Some memories are so emotionally charged that they become frozen in time, and some particulars can be recalled in excruciating detail, as if the event just occurred, while others may be forgotten. The American Psychological Association is concerned that public statements questioning the integrity of Dr. Ford and the veracity of her allegation due to her prior lack of reporting will make it even more likely that other sexual assault victims do not report their experiences.”

Primetime exclusive major network interview. Only a guess.

This story about the woman Kavanaugh and his buddies slut-shaming a woman in their HS yearbook is disgusting. And it also shows that Kavanaugh is willing to lie about little things - like why he put her name on his yearbook memories page - which means he's willing to lie about the big things. It also shows all that claptrap about always respecting women in the interview tonight was BS.

Letter re-iterates the complaint that White House hasn't asked the FBI to investigate.

Laying the groundwork for a noisy withdrawal from the hearing maybe.

Not really sure where you’re getting the sheer loathing part. Maybe you’re projecting your own loathing onto someone else.

If that prosecutor questions Ford, Bromwich should question Kavanaugh.

I mostly saw anxiety and regret. Anxiety could very well be the interview itself.

I’ve been anti-Brett the whole way but I I’m a little less so after watching.

I look forward to hearing Dr. Ford on Thursday.

The opposite. I believe Professor Ford but very once in a while have some doubts. But seeing Kavanaugh lying his way through an interview, he definitely did all that he was accused of.

Read links, people. Bromwich is one of Ford’s lawyers.

I saw, maybe, a touch of anger—probably at him for putting the family through this and for not having taken a big money job with Facebook or something. No hand holding. No real warmth. That said, all couples have their own vibe. Who knows. Sad stuff.
