What a transparent coward. A real leader gets counsel, but makes his own decisions and delivers them in parson. It wasn't possible for Trump to sink lower in my esteem, but I continue to be surprised by how much worse he is than I thought. |
Trump just gave an interview where he said that he was going to fire Comey before the meeting with the AG and DAG. He lies so often, that while this sounds like the truth, there's no way to know. |
If the twitter hints and rumors I've read are correct, prepare to be surprised again. Only more surprised. |
Maybe Trump will fire Rod Rosenstein today, citing Rosenstein's "hugely bad" recommendation that Trump fire Comey! That would be some sweet irony. I also still say Trump installed Giuliani to replace Comey. That would be the height of ridiculous. |
It contradicts what Mike Pence and Sarah Huckabee Sanders said with regard to the firing. |
Such as? |
Shh. This interview contradicts what everyone has been, including Trump. |
Again, rumors, but: https://mobile.twitter.com/NTarnopolsky/status/862622568712462337 |
Maybe the people around him should stop trying to make things more palatable and start speaking the truth. It's so much easier. Comey was fired because he hurt the president's feelings and couldn't be trusted to protect him. What have they got to lose? |
He's lying. He didn't need a ginned-up paper trail to fire Comey. He thinks this new spin makes him appear "decisive." He forgets what Pence and Huckabee-Sanders were told to spin. Trump was fully supportive of Comey until his recent testimony. |
More and more I am thinking he literally has dementia. He can't keep straight what's in his head, what is reality, what has been said or done. He cannot form a cogent thought. |
Alzheimer's will do that. |
Do these people not hope to get a job after Trump is no longer president? Why are they all refining their credibility and reputations? Sessions, Sanders, Spicer? Why are they willing to lie for him? They just look so dumb. |
^ruining |
Sessions has been wanting this forever. He's happy where he is. Sanders seems like a nut. And Spicer probably thought it was a good idea initially. No one would be surprised if he doesn't come back. Actually, we'd be surprised if he does. |
