Exactly. Lululemon dropped the ball here.

They will be sued.

Um, non-payment of rent does not equal murder. I can't imagine a case like that going anywhere.

when that shows up on a background check, it doesn't really throw up red flags...

As a business owner or hiring manager you have to have a valid business case for not hiring someone as a result of a background investigation and you actually have to send out a formal notice that you are not hiring the person as a result of their background investigation. For example, if she was caught stealing money from a former employer you would certainly have a case but I'm not sure about failure to appear in court.

They deserve to be sued...most for the fact that a place like that didn't have a camera. I mean...the snack place on the corner has security camera and Lululemon didn't have one.

They sell a yoga pant for $100 but they don't have a camera.

*shock* cant get over it! darn it!

I can't imagine that most businesses perform background checks on low-level, cashier-type employees. I've worked in tons of those kind of jobs and they rarely ever checked references, much less did a background check.

right, going to not hire a black female (two protected classes) because of an unpaid speeding ticket or because she had a dispute with a large apartment landlord when she was in her early 20s? right. what color is the sky in your world?

Maybe she should have thought of that before murdering somebody in this area.

She probably didn't intend to murder her. She was mad and maybe thought she would give her a beating. And it got out of hand.

Um, mad?! When most people get mad, giving someone a beating doesn't even cross their minds. If that's what happened, and she wasn't on drugs, etc, then there is a major mental issue. Definitely not a good trait for a babysitter.

Lots of violent folks with major anger problems out there. She might have been one of them.

She definitely had a major anger issue. I agree though that she did not initially intend to murder her. I think that for whatever reason they got into a fight and once she hit her it was ALL over! She got angrier and angrier and then had to finish her off so she wouldn't go to jail. The oxy moron of the whole thing.
The question is...did she actually REALLY leave her wallet there or not? Otherwise it was literally premeditated murder. And considering the extent of the plans that she went through to cover it up and to spend the night with a dead body to make it seem as if she was a victim is crazy for sure. They are going to throw away the key on her! TOAST!

Premeditated. She lured her back to the store.

To argue or fight but not to kill her.

You do not know that at all! How do you know that she did not?

I do not know either. But you do not know that she did not call her back there with the intent to kill her. No one knows other than her and the cops.
