We have more advanced math, that's why we run circles around you when it comes to math competitions. |
Lol ok. Examples? |
And don’t include the magnets. Because private school kids get into those and obviously they’re strong.
I want proof that regular MCPS HS’s wipe the floor with private school kids in math competitions. |
You sound a little deranged. |
Yes, it’s deranged to ask for proof of a claim. |
PPs husband here. She’s not deranged. You’re the ones making wild claims you can’t prove. |
Check AMC8, AMC10 or MATHCOUNTS. |
Do you understand what you just admitted? Those students have to come to MCPS to enjoy very advanced, high quality math and strong peers. LOL |
Wow. A few years ago I was convinced I was alone in seeing the daily incompetence of MCPS - so much so that I convinced the wife to move. And we left. Immediately all was better. Now I see 50 DCUM pages on why the place is atrocious and I just want to say to the apologists: do not blame this on pandemic. Likely took the place to another level but hell’s journey began with Weist’s corrupt deal with Pearson. |
Huh? Kids apply to public school for a lot of reasons. |
Yet, here you are on the MCPS forum. Can't get away from MCPS, can you? You are as deranged as your wife. |
C'mon now! You know damn well the private students who apply to the magnets, apply for their advanced classes and programs. Stop lying to yourself. |
They can get in but they have to play math catch up with summer school. No one is saying they are not smart, they don’t have the same opportunities. |
That’s silly because most kids are not doing nor have time for math competitions. |
If privates are so much better, why on earth would you leave for a terrible public? |
