Elections are already "rigged"...this is just gives Rs a little less "rigging".

The mental gymnastics y’all are doing to justify your power grab is impressive. Just own it. You’re trying to gerrymander right now because you can. Or so you think. Man, even if this nonsense passes in Tuesday, the VA Supreme Court will have its say a few days later. Just think about that for a second. The Dems cheated to ram through an amendment to rig elections in their favor, all in the name of “restoring fairness”. It sounds like something you’d read in The Onion.

The Supreme Court is hoping it won't pass. If it does, they will have enabled a huge expenditure for this ridiculous vote.
The timing is off according to the law, but that can be twisted.
What is more egregious to me is the bias/slant on the wording of the referendum. I don't see how that can pass muster with the court. It is clearly against the law.

Hopefully it fails and this nonsense is put to bed, or until the next opportunity for the Dems to cheat presents itself. But if it passes, the supreme court needs to do its job. The law is clear. There needs to be a 90 day window before it goes to referendum. That didn’t happen. And the special session for the budget isn’t a catch-all for them to ram this though. The whole thing is a complete and utter sham. It’s disgusting

More disgusting was J6 and is the SAVE act.
More disgusting is the shadow docket.
But at least we are trying to do something to stem the evil wrought by Robert’s, McConnell (with merrick Garland), the J6ers, Mike Johnson and Trump.

Ok. But nothing in your rant makes what the Dems are doing right now any less disgusting.

Voting No in Alexandria.

+1 I don’t know how anyone who’s seen the map of VA could vote yes. This has nothing to do with MAGA. It’s not right. None of us are MAGA and we are all voting no in our house.

If you support Trump’s continued abuses of power then you are MAGA.

You folks keep using the phrase “abuses of power” but give no examples of such.

The disgusting thing is that nearly everything the dems do is for one purpose - to gain or retain power.

Blockading the Straight of Hormuz
Pardoning the traitors of J6
Asking the Supreme Court to remove the decision in the Jean Carroll case
Tweeting he is going to destroy a civilization and commit war crimes
Taking money for personal gain (trump coin)

Just off the top of my head

There’s a whole forum here on national politics that you can take a look at here.
https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/forums/show/39.page It’s pretty much anything he does. Get ready to not get any FEMA money if something bad happens in Virginia, for example.

Exactly.

Fk MAGA. They don’t argue in good faith.

Exactly.

The easier question would be: what is the GOP doing now that isn’t an abuse of power?

Thanks for proving yet again:

Every accusation is a confession.

You’re just trolling at this point.

Fck MAGA.

Vote YES to attempt to restore some kind of balance in Congress.

Are you 12 or something? That’s your response? I’m “trolling”? “Fck MAGA”? Grow up and own your attempt to cheat, FFS!!!

Probably older than you and tired of MAGA a-holes recycling the same stupid talking points. Just repeating the same thing again and again won’t make it true.

If you can’t come up with an original thought based in reality, then fk you.

Vote YES to attempt to restore some kind of balance in Congress.

Why are LWNJs such rude and profane twits? Always, and on every single thread. Vote however you want and the rest of us will do the same.

Surely you forgot to include vaccine mandates and social media censorship in your list... Get a better pair of glasses...Democrats are truly no better than Republicans.
