If there’s a genocide going on, why doesn’t Hamas surrender? They can’t win this war, the Arab countries nearby aren’t coming to their side, so does Hamas just hate its own people so much to let them die? If the alternative is willing the war with Israel, that has a zero percent chance of happening.

This. We spend so much money funding Israel while we cut off funding on foreign aid to nearly every country of the world. You need to call your Congressperson/write the President and say that allowing the USA to pay for Israel tanks, while starving Palestinian children to death is not OK.

I suppose begging our Congress members can't hurt but you and I both know 95% of them care a lot more about the folks funding their campaigns than they do their constituents. We can either continue to vote for Rs and Ds with the hopes that somehow everything will magically get better or we break our loyalties and watch them come crawling back to us.

Except that’s not what’s happening. Palestinians aren’t being rounded up and killed because they are Arab; they’re dying because there’s a war going on that they started. These are ethnically the same kind of people, unlike their terrorist brethren, who can live peacefully in Israel, are elected in government, vote freely, etc. If there was a genocide going on, wouldn’t the Israelis have rounded up and/or murdered all the Palestinians who live peacefully within Israel?

This is not a war. Innocents are being systematically exterminated. No one is fighting is Israel. They are the only ones dropping bombs.

Because Israel is playing right into their hands. They want the destruction of Israel. They cannot beat Israel while Israel has the support of the world, especially the US. Israel rapidly destroying that support with every fresh war crime revealed, and every new photo of a starving child. When this is over, Israel will be a pariah state, and Jewish people will be far less safe. Hamas is getting exactly what they want, and they've shown they are perfectly willing to sacrifice their people to win. It's the Palestinian people, and the Israeli people who will lose.

This is probably correct, except that Hamas is badly miscalculating the outcome.

Mannnnn I saw that Miss Rachel was speaking out on behalf of that adorable Palestinian girl who lost her legs.

And I thought, dang Miss Rachel doesn’t know she’s being used. Her heart is in the right place. What’s happening to those children is horrific. But this is what they want.

Israel obviously wants all Palestinian children dead because they are psychopaths. But Hamas is no better. They were probably thrilled when her legs got blown off so they could parade her around for sympathy. They’re using HUMAN BEINGS as fodder in their war against Israel. Both sides are disgusting.

When that girl grows up I hope she realizes how both sides are full of hate.

Israelis are terrible. I really think they’re psychopaths. But so are Palestinians, in a much more subversive way. They refuse do basic things like not kidnap Israelis and in the process they’re creating an environment where children are getting their legs blown off. Way to go dudes.

I don't think someone is stupid enough to actually believe this but rather just distract from the topic at hand.

Nevertheless, I'll respond. What homes are left? They are all in tents and refugee camps. You do realize that Gaza is the largest open concentration camp that's sieged of all sides right?

Hamas is virtue signaling. It’s like a gang member gaining street cred for going to jail. They want to say we took this beating and stood tall. Look how tough we are.

Israel refuses to give them any way to spin a ceasefire as a victory, so they continue to press the attack.

Neither side is thinking of the civilians.
