Those who survived that genocide and are still alive are also calling this what it is—a genocide. Jewish people do not own the word. It's defined as the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group. Please tell me how this is not a genocide?

Israeli leaders have referred to Palestinians as animals. They have been quite open about their intent to "erase Gaza." Why do you continue to deny what can very plainly be seen?

Except that’s not what’s happening. Palestinians aren’t being rounded up and killed because they are Arab; they’re dying because there’s a war going on that they started. These are ethnically the same kind of people, unlike their terrorist brethren, who can live peacefully in Israel, are elected in government, vote freely, etc. If there was a genocide going on, wouldn’t the Israelis have rounded up and/or murdered all the Palestinians who live peacefully within Israel?

This. We spend so much money funding Israel while we cut off funding on foreign aid to nearly every country of the world. You need to call your Congressperson/write the President and say that allowing the USA to pay for Israel tanks, while starving Palestinian children to death is not OK.
