She really does

And she’s only 2 years younger than Trump!

Two facelifts in the past decade will do that for you. She had one right before she started campaigning for the 2016 election and she has had some other work done since then. Trump has only had one facelift and he’s due for another one.

The positivity was so refreshing!

Speaking of positivity, why is the United Center surrounded by walls when they don't work at the border? Meanwhile in Chicago this past weekend, 30 people were shot and 5 died.

And? That was his rank in the army.

Are you stupid?

It was not, he retired as a Master Sergeant. You are stupid.

I'll make a deal: MAGAs can talk about/question Walz's rank when Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) stops being referred to as a "retired Admiral", when, in fact, he's a retired Captain.

Same. It was a great 1st night. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night (Weds) for Walz, Obama, Michelle Obama and Buttigieg and then Thursday for Harris.

I felt there was a lot of unity last night. Great seeing the connection between Biden and Harris and how much regard they have for each other. Harris also electrified the crowd by coming out briefly. It was like the place exploded.

Also Raphael Warnock was such a talent.

And the three women and man who spoke about reproductive freedom and the impact on them had me and my teen daughter full blown sobbing.

I think the whole country should come together to escape Trump and all he wants to take from all Americans.

It was electrifying. Even when Obama was running, I didn't have this feeling of optimism - I hoped he'd win, but I didn't FEEL anything (other than relief when he won; it was fun being out in the streets of DC that night!).

I feel optimistic and proud right now. Terrified still, too, of course. Annoyed and angry, always. But optimistic and proud in a way that is new. This feels like a transformative moment. I hope we can keep it going.

I feel such genuine joy at the prospect of Harris and Walz winning the white house. However, I'm still worried that Trump and Vance will sneak in like Trump did in 2016. Or that he'll cause issues again like 2020 when he lost but wouldn't accept it.

I'm just over all the negativity and meanness from Trump and Vance.

Agree - I love the positivity and joy coming out now but vibes and memes, while important, only go so far. If Dems embrace a far left message they will be annihilated. The key is to embrace the rhetoric of the left and fight but have policies that strike a balance of the right and middle.

I am the PP and I feel largely the same. I think a lot of people are over Trump. It just feels like he peaked on the day of the attempted assassination (will we EVER get a real reporting on what happened that day?!) and then has slid more or less into oblivion since them. But the surprise and shock of 2016 - and the four years after that - will always keep me from getting cocky or confident. We have to work for this.
