Oh please. If anyone is let to coast it’s Trump. He constantly benefits from low expectations. He’s not even expected to say a coherent sentence much less be consistent from day to day or have actual policies (besides inflation bad! Immigrants bad!) I mean his tariffs would increase prices on Americans but no one makes him explain how they work. His deportations would also drive up food costs— probably cause shortages too— but no expects him to reckon with that. |
Loosely, $10M+ jobs in under 4 years. Think. Dems are the party of administrative red tape and slog. When Dems create jobs, it's not because they made it easier for existing businesses to conduct business. They do it creating new programs that ignite hiring sprees. When the program falls short and doesn't pan out, those jobs get dumped, Republicans get brought in and people like you complain it's the shortcoming of Republicans rather than the frivolity of Dems. |
You are just making things up. Look at real job numbers under D and R administrations and Ds are far ahead, no matter what kind of nonsense you make up. "high-speed job creation", is that like trickle down economics? |
Huh? |
Lol. Why don’t you mosey over to the RW v LW media and see how very in the tank the “mainstream media” is in the tank for DonOLD. |
Except they let Trump coast more. If there were a real media in this country, we would understand the $10M bribe Egypt paid to Trump as well as the other various financial connection between Trump, other countries and organized crime. |
As a DoD employee, Biden-Harris raised the level of spending. There were some projects that the military wanted to actually cut due to obsolescence, and members of Congress wanted that pork to remain in their districts. |
Cannot speak for other jurisdictions, but DC received money from the federal government to remove lead pipes in homes. DC water company went house to house, changing out pipes. Lots of streets were also dug up and new pipes laid. So the removal of lead pipes is a fact in this area. And I seriously doubt, the money was limited to DC. |
DP. You can begin with all the new roads, bridges, and broadband being built via the infrastructure bill. That’s job creation. And of course let’s not forget the companies like caterpillar, Deere, Eaton, Otis, Dover and more that benefits from the infrastructure bill and have to hire more people to keep up with production. |
But, but, but Republicans are better on the economy, don't you know? |
+1 Funny how the media totally ignored his incoherent ramblings during the debate. |
That's because they were focused on Biden whose condition was much worse than was let on. This time, Trump's age-related decline will be center stage when Biden is no longer there to deflect attention. The media will not hear much of what Harris has to say as everyone will be dissecting whether Trump is fit to hold office. |
I don’t like the Biden/Harris plan to tax unrealized capital gains. Will be a huge headache at tax time and punishes those who have saved and invested on their own without handouts— just like they’ve done with the student loan forgiveness. |
Don’t worry about it. This will never get through a Democrat Senate, more less a divided or Republican Senate. |
Have you met the New York Times? In no way can we expect the mainstream media to give Trump's age and dementia anything like what they did to Biden. |
