Their Instagram page shows several recent commits. 3 to NESCAC, 1 to Lehigh, and 1 to the University of South Florida. The last one will be interesting to follow as a new program. USF along with Clemson will sign top recruiting classes and compete quickly.

You can find most of the commits (new and old) listed on the clubs’ instagram pages or websites.

A couple VA Metro to URI (D1) as well.

va metro is a dying club, after the 23 class, they have nothing, good luck with the 3D buy out, no wonder why players are leaving left and right.

Just my two cents as a former lax parent, every club has pros and cons, but I think metro is going to be severely challenged and not convinced 3D is going to help at all. I don’t wish any club to fail but my hunch is, they will struggle to out together any competitive teams with the new merger.
It will also be interesting to see where stats goes and pride with their recruiting for high school aged players, most likely going to take a couple years to get going.

Just stop. You’ve been saying the same crap every time this club is mentioned. It’s tiresome. You obvi have some axe to grind because they wronged you in some way. I have no connection to Metro and even I can see right through your pettiness. Everyone does. Why not be happy for these girls.

Anyone else have insite into prides recruiting new director. Just want to understand her past performance and trying to make a decision to keep my daughter in the club or look elsewhere.

Like I said, just a former parent who actually had a decent experience with club, but just being real and honest. No one is calling out individuals, just stating the talent level overall is not up to par.

Laughing at this as the pp, is actually correct.
Boring topic, trash it

We have been impressed with the new Pride recruiting director. She just started a few months ago but she is very responsive and has provided good advice for my DD.
I don't think you can compare it to CC but it seems to be headed in the right direction.

I don’t think the new recruiting director worked with their 2023s, but they have put together a solid recruiting class. I would imagine with the help of a full time director focused on the girls they will do well. A lot depends on what your DD wants in the way of a college program. No doubt CLC has a strong track record with the Ivies. Pride had some girls commit to NESCAC. Both clubs have girls going to some top D1 lacrosse programs, playing for top coaches. VAM has some D1 commits as well, but seems more weighted towards DIII. Those are probably the top three VA HS programs in Nova.

Besides Capital looks like metro has 13 D1 commits and some D3s. I would say metro infront of pride right now for recruiting, but that will go down hill fast for metro after the 23s.
