At least the blue suit is appropriate! You don't need to be thin to dress appropriately, PP.

But she IS thin! Even if she has gained weight, she could still look fabulous with the proper clothing! This suit is making a thin woman look huge, and it’s kind of amazing she makes these mistakes over and over and over like this. She could literally walk into any store and ask for help and some random salesgirl could pick flattering outfits for her.

The suit is just fine. She looks like she's channeling HRC. It's good that she's moving away from the sexy look.

She looks like she has gone from a size 2 to a size 8. Still cuts a nice frame, just bigger.

You can be professional without wearing clothes that make you look big and dowdy.

No way. Go back and look at the pics with the green dress. She’s still very thin. I hate everything about that blue suit on her, other than the fact it is, indeed, work/daytime appropriate.

No, the dress could be tailored to fit her well but it needs to be at least one size larger accommodate her bust and hips. The dress she has one is too small and the seam allowances insufficient to let out enough to fit her properly. But, while it could be tailored to fit, it's still not likely to look good. Someone with a bust that disproportionate to the rest of her figure isn't usually flattered by the neckline the dress has and the material is too shiny and her foundation garments don't fit. So much wrong with the look.

You just said what the PP you are responding to said...

NP. This is not a dress I would alter. You go a size big, the armholes will be too big, the fabric is silk, but of the thinest variety. It's unlined. The seams are overlocked. It's a one-off party dress for a teen.

The complete outline of the stool is visible through the brown version, and the darts are already a mess:

Yes, agree. And the models look heavy under the bust, so it cannot work for a normal, even a teen! Ivanka's looks like it added ruching there, which is a good idea, but nothing can save this dress as is.

The skirt has draping at the left hip. I don't think Ivanka's has been altered.

It is apparent from their faces and bodies how much weight and trauma they have all been through in the last few years, and I just have to say that it’s nice to know they’re miserable, too. I’m specifically leaving off at that point rather than have some huffy, masochistic supporter report me for being political. They just looked drastically less haggard just three years ago. It’s astonishing, like we’re in some hideous warp.

Thank you for posting the pic for me!

they want $300 for that thin, unlined, disaster of a dress?! It looks like something you can pick up at Forever 21 for $39.

Today she wore the Suzannah coat dress, this time with a belt and turtleneck, and possibly the tall black boots from Tuesday.

This doesn't strike me as an American dress.

This is another example where her body looks like she was in a horrible car accident, parts going off at unnatural angles.

I have the Imperial March in my head now.

omg yes

Damn, those are some high heels on those boots. I love me some heels, but those just make her look like she's standing on her tippy-toes.

She wore this in 2018, different times

Goodness, she's really gained a lot of weight in the last year. It's been a rough time for us all I guess, even the zombie soul-eaters.

You’re kidding. She looks tiny.

Because the frontal photo was taken a long time ago!!!! Look hoe long her hair is!
