OK, I did watch a little of this, and she smiles the whole time she is talking, like a pageant contestant or something. I rewatched the woman speaking before her, who presents like a serious person talking to serious people. Ivanka comes off like a flake because she won't (or can't?) stop smiling. It's totally unprofessional. Ugh. |
I think her face did the best that her face could do (it’s been through a lot of trauma) but it’s embarrassing that she is speaking at all. I actually think it would be legitimate if she was there silently holding daddy’s hand, as we all have figured out he is going through some health issues and she is a caregiver, but there is literally no reason for her to say anything. Ever. She has no place in industry or government, no qualifications. |
Goodness, she's really gained a lot of weight in the last year. It's been a rough time for us all I guess, even the zombie soul-eaters. |
She's going to kiss him then kill him isn't she |
Yahoo ID'd these pieces as Max Mara:

It's really not terrible, especially compared to the green number from the night before. But the crop length strikes again.
![]() Is her hair like that because of extensions? How do extensions and fake hair work ... where are the short pieces coming from? Also, is the groove under her bottom lip so deep now because of chin implants? It's so odd to see a face evolve so quickly. |

OK, no. I am a frequent poster on this thread and have nothing good to say about Ivanka's clothing choices. But I'm also Jewish (modern orthodox), and I take offence to "parading round in pillbox hats" - as far as I'm aware, she has worn the pillbox hat only to synagogue, where it is entirely appropriate. I also do not think she's trying to dress in accordance with the rules for an orthodox Jew. I think she is trying to dress more professionally, with varying degrees of success, but as a modern Orthodox Jew, what she is wearing is fine. She has never claimed to be ultra orthodox (hair fully covered at all times, fully covered clothing at all times), and what she wears, in terms of lengths, sleeves, bare shoulders, etc, is in keeping with how other modern Orthodox women dress when not in synagogue (in terms of style - yes, there are multiple problems!) And her synagogue clothes are religiously appropriate too. |
I thought everyone was being dramatic with the extension talk. Do you all think she cut it super short and regretted it? Why does it looks so bad? Admittedly, I have different kind of hair than Ivanka, so I don't understand what's going on here. |
Maybe it's a wig? |
She’s trying to capture a little of Pelosi’s style magic, isn’t she? |
Scroll up and compare her in waist in the green dress to her waist/thighs in the blue suit. I know part of the way the dress looks they way it does is because it is snug across the chest, but that suit just makes her look extremely bulky. What is up with that? Is she doing it on purpose? It's not a bad suit, in the sense that it is a perfectly appropriate work suit and a nice blouse. But either it fits terribly, or she has five pairs of Spanx on under that green dress. |
Never mind, I figured it out, she had to buy a large suit jacket to be able to button it up and its too big around the rest of her. Still.....TAILORING!!!! |
The blue thing is appropriate (mostly) and fits her (mostly), but it's not something I would look at and think "wow, that looks great" (so unlike most of the Pelosi looks). I'm so sick of the stupid neck bows. Let's move on, design world.
I still like the green silk, even after being told it's a cheap dress for teen parties. I'm middle aged and would wear it, assuming I could find underwear that wouldn't show under it. But I have small boobs. It would probably look really nice on her natural body. |
