| Gonzaga won. St Mary’s did not pay a lot of starters |
|
was this a game or scrimmage?
|
Joint practice followed by a scrimmage. |
| hmmm..what does St. Marys typically pay their starters? I think you've blown the lid off of how the best teams compete in the DMV!!! |
A "joint" practice on 4/20, that is funny. |
| Why is Gonzaga still ranked #2 in the nation according to US Lacrosse? They lost to Landon, 11-6. |
| SCRIMMAGE |
|
Overlook Landon. That is always the best policy.
It seems the Nike folks are paying attention to Prep losing to Bullis in 2OT once and then thumping Bullis but not necessarily Gonzaga being handled by Landon in three quarters of playing with the best players available. I am simply glad the kids can play. |
Relax fella as it was just a scrimmage. I watched the tape on youtube and Gonzaga doesn't match up well with teams with strong FOGO's. Both GP and Landon have very strong FOGO's this year, Prep having a UVA verbal and I believe the Landon fogo is going to Amherst. I fully expect GZ and SJC to run through the WCAC this Spring but the Catholic league seems to be down once again. I do think Landon is very solid this year and is being overlooked with Bullis and GP being the favorites. |
| Expecting rankings to be impacted by scrimmage results is silly. As Allen Iverson put so simply: “We talkin bout practice.” |
| Also, the Scrimmage results between Gonzaga and Landon weren't 11-6. See a previous poster with the quarter by quarter scoring. |
|
does anyone know if EHS lax team has been cleared to play yet?
|
St Mary’s startling fogo did not play either. |
| Prep and Gonzaga are always the most talented teams in the area. That fact will never change. |
More evidence that Gonzaga shouldn’t be #2 in the nation. |
