What if he does? Your point?

Do you think he does?

Ah, yes - the poster who will only answer a question with a (pedantic, repetitive) question. Your many questions have been answered, and then some. Move on if you have nothing further to add.

I'm 19:21 (copied below). There ARE answers if you're smart enough to search.

When the biggest gay-loving liberal like Cher comes out in favor of putting citizens first, I don't care if Trump is acting like an ass or not. His statements are waking people up to the logistical issues facing the absorption of more illegal immigrants.

Yes, that was the first and only time it was answered. Page 46 or 47.

The people on the streets begging are NOT the immigrants. The immigrants are the ones working and contributing. Yes, the people on the streets are a problem. But will they go out and work like the immigrants? Somebody has to work. We are not getting our garbage picked up and cleaning done because they cannot find employees. Seriously.

so . . . You seriously think that all of those entering our country will be working - ON THE BOOKS?

We have people picking up trash and building houses and cleaning offices and working in restaurants and and and . . .

Let's bring in more issues even though we CAN'T solve the ones that already exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clearly you have NO compassion for the many sick and mentally ill folks living in tents around the country.

You are despicable.

THIS x100

Is this when you try to steer the conversation towards homelessness?

Liberal hypocrisy was called out before 2016, but it's been growing stronger and stronger.

So, because of this liberal hypocrisy "call out", the Dems took 40 seats in the House in 2018 and now have control of it. Yep, it's been growing stronger and stronger.

You do realize that sanctuary cities are by and large cities where immigrants - both legal and illegal - ALREADY live. They are already here. And many of our communities are rallying to make it possible for them to live their fullest lives and become contributors to our regions. It's not a punishment - it's the American way.

Exactly - it’s NOT a punishment. So why are Democrats so very outraged?? They should be tickled pink.

For the 100000th time...

It’s not that Dems think it’s a punishment, it’s that Trump and Miller sat down to think of a way to punish Dems for the ICE funding for beds. Trump thinks it’s a punishment he can inflict on Dems in retaliation for budget negotiations.

I think he should go ahead with his plan. If ICE doesn’t have the funds for the buses he should loan out his campaign buses and take full credit for his plan. It would certainly make him look like a compassionate guy.

Yes, we know - you've repeated your spiel for the 100000th time. The point you seem to be deliberately avoiding is: SO WHAT if Trump thought it would be a "punishment"? Many of you have repeatedly said it would *not* be a punishment to receive these immigrants. Though I question how many of you actually live in the targeted sanctuary cities - easy for you to say how much they'd be welcome if you're not even living there.

Finally, what's your explanation as to why Democrats refused funding for ICE beds? If beds are needed, why are they not being funded by the very people who insist these migrants are so welcome here?

POTUS planning punishment for citizens of the his own country is OK in your books?? Seriously???

Oh, for crying out loud. You are completely unable to carry on a normal conversation. The fact is: sanctuary cities (and Democrats in general) are insisting this would be no punishment at all for them, and that they would happily welcome a large influx of immigrants. It's not as if they've announced that it *would* be a punishment. So if they're assuring the country that it's no problem for them, then we should take them at their word. Can even a tiny part of your brain comprehend this, or are you going to continue beating this into the ground?

You know what makes no sense about this thread. It's the idea that immigrants are "released" in areas and they would just stay there. No, they are free to go where they choose to go. Often that is where they have friends or relatives. I don't think they are put into places. The whole idea is just bonkers.

What is the difference between this topic and literally every other day?

The issue is that you dont want your schools and neighborhoods going to the crapper. Its okay to admit.

You are projecting, MAGA trash!!

And, phew! Finally! It took 36 pages for you to realize that we are outraged by Trump’s vindictiveness, not the immigrants. Not the brightest bunch, are you?

Riiiiight. If the idea of sending these immigrants to sanctuary cities had come from the Democrats, you’d be falling all over yourselves to show your approval. The only reason you’re outraged (as usual) is because your favorite person to hate suggested it. Get real. We see straight through your faux outrage.

Why do you think Trump wants to send them?

Because there’s no more room at the border and because Democrats have made it clear they will happily take them. Win-win. Right?

“The White House believed it could punish Democrats — including Pelosi — by busing ICE detainees into their districts before their release, according to two DHS whistleblowers who independently reported the busing plan to Congress. One of the whistleblowers spoke with The Washington Post, and several DHS officials confirmed the accounts. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.”

Yes, we get it. The point is (for the zillionth time), why aren't all of you proving Trump wrong that this would in any way be a "punishment"? If that's the case, why aren't you organizing busing for these migrants yourselves?

Trump already offered the buses. So kind. Maybe he will send campaign buses. He might pick up a few voters in the process.

Can you even read? The PP stated that her FIL had already been beaten and robbed by two illegals. He has good reason to view them as potential criminals.

sorry

can't resist

BAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is perfect.

Immigrants go where there are jobs. This is generally where the economy is doing well. Which is generally in blue areas.

So, yes, you think he’s acting like an ass but, no, you don’t care.

Only took 47 pages to get an answer.

I don't care at this point, no.

I've been preaching what Cher has just not posted. I believe that until we handle our internal problems, we need to limit external problems.

Many of you are very simple, as you haven't lived enough to see what some of us have seen. Gang issues are a problem. You may not think they're coming in, which is your prerogative to keep your head in the sand. So I'll spin it this way. Young, vulnerable kids are entering the country. Many will fall prey to these monsters.

And yes, they use machetes. And they're in neighborhoods that were once considered middle class and suburban. They rape. They kill. They deal drugs. They're in your local schools. Many are smart enough to stay under the radar. But others like to tag, which gives them away. Once you find one, the school resource officer is on the hunt, partnering with other local cops to find the gang.

So while I know many from Central America are escaping gang activity, we don't have the supports in place her to handle them either. There are far too many in our suburban and urban schools who will recruit them as young as upper elementary. And they will indeed rape - and gang rape - the girls as part of gang initiation.

This issue cannot be overlooked or minimized.

want proof? It's easy using Google - https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/maryland/facts-about-ms-13-in-maryland-virginia/65-436466709
Welcome to Mont. Co! This was created in 2017. I don't think it's gotten any better . . .

In our area gang recruiters may target specific high school classes. John McCarthy says students coming from Central America often get put in supplemental English or math classes together.

"A lot of these kids are (performing) below grade level. They're so far below grade level, they probably shouldn't be in high school. But they come here 16,17,18 years old and they may be functioning at a fourth or fifth grade level educationally," said McCarthy.

MS-13 recruiters target the vulnerable students in these classes.

"Well the gangbangers know that these kids have been clustered in those classrooms for these classes. Well it's almost like we've brought them together in a fishbowl," said McCarthy. He describes the need for more community support for these students, so they may be prevented from falling into the gang.

I agree with that PP - the POTUS sitting down to brainstorm ways to punish US citizens over budget negotiations is deplorable. But I guess that what ya’ll like about him. You certainly have no issue with it.

They are asking for donations.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/new-mexico-city-asks-donations-after-more-migrants-dropped-n994211

The statement said needed items included utensils, napkins, paper plates, sanitary napkins, shampoo, clothing, towels, blankets, canned food, bottled water, foam padding for bedding and stuffed toys.

interesting . . .

The Border Patrol announced Thursday it would release migrants in southern New Mexico and in El Paso, Texas, pending their future court hearings Immigration and Customs "capacity issues."

Happy to donate to support those communities.

Write those checks and start sending supplies! Be sure to document everything on social media, too.

I dunno. My FIL who lives outside ElPaso just told my DH that he is going to buy a gun. He was badly beaten and robbed by two illegals a few months ago and turned the other cheek. Now he is preparing.

This man was assaulted. I hardly think YOU'D be as compassionate after being beaten and robbed.

So you agree that dropping them off at sanctuary cities is a form of punishment.

Not the PP, but it certainly would be for me and I have no problem saying that. But you liberals - it would be a joy to receive busloads of immigrants, right?

Send them over.

What's bonkers is that they're released into the country at all. That's truly bonkers.
