There was an epic explosion in illegal immigration during Biden's years. It has precipitously crashed in only a few months because we have stopped incentivizing it. It is true, all we needed was a change in will to enforce the law and no more BS games with asylum.

This is exactly what the American public wanted. No idea why Dems are so against stopping illegal immigration.

The numbers were already going down before Biden left. It’s odd you blame him for a global migration crisis.

Unfortunately I think his base and some who may have been regretting their vote were likely energized by his speech. The Dems looked like naughty children told to sit in the corner (with one exception) VD Trance is so unlikable, it’s so visible how he gets off on power, gross.

The PP isn't taking into account how this administration presents the data. They now only report encounters. That is very different than the number coming in.

The Biden administration saw the writing on the wall and did something half-assed (and pure optics) to try and get numbers down for the election. People weren’t fooled.

Asylum might get unpaused but perhaps by then we will have something like a Safe Third Country agreement with Mexico in place. And forget about billions of dollars flowing through HHS to these migrants. Won’t be happening.
