There was an epic explosion in illegal immigration during Biden's years. It has precipitously crashed in only a few months because we have stopped incentivizing it.   It is true, all we needed was a change in will to enforce the law and no more BS games with asylum.

The Biden administration saw the writing on the wall and did something half-assed (and pure optics) to try and get numbers down for the election.   People weren’t fooled.

Asylum might get unpaused but perhaps by then we will have something like a Safe Third Country agreement with Mexico in place. And forget about billions of dollars flowing through HHS to these migrants. Won’t be happening.[/quote]
