Sorry Mr. Aug guy. top B team misaligned players are practicing with the younger A team. You're in denial. That's the reality. (Edited for clarity).

2. Play on your grade in school B team
3. Play somewhere else
Which top clubs? In DMV Bethesda, Arlington and other ECNL clubs said play on age, best get to play up. You seem the opposite of on the know when you go against what clubs posted.

Trust me, bro.
No reason to trust anyone here, just check your clubs announcement. ECNL and ECRL teams in DC area mentioned on web that age is everything and don't care about grades but a few will let players play up with friends on lower level teams.

ECNL wants kids in their age groups but have advised its clubs to allow grade alignment if that means players have to play up. They don’t want kids the grade behind playing up if they are not a top 5 player on the older team.
Where did ECNL advise clubs to have kids play up for grade? Podcasts have pushed age only.

It's mr. trust me, bro, again.

What I was told by a ECNL club director who also has done private training with my daughter for years. No reason to lie to me.

Not saying girls will be forced out of the Aug-July age groups but said ECNL does not want teams fighting the change. Again ECNL will not force anything but sent out email and have had zoom meetings with club directors about how they ideally want things to go.

And this is exactly why all top team players will be rhe same graduating year. What mr age doesnt understand is that when players get older plastic trophies no longer matter and it all becomes working to get recruited to play in college. Which translates to playing on the correct grade in school team which makes being identified by college coaches 1000% easier than if you're misaligned.

You keep conflating youth soccer trying to get Aug-Dec Dec kids on the correct age group with your desire for youth soccer to force grade year (which they aren't doing and haven't been considering.)

Fighting the change would be having a bunch of kids play up. ECNL wants players on age unless you can be top 5 next age group up. They aren't trying to address grade, they are trying to address clubs not pushing Aug-Dec down an age group. People are often resistant to change, clubs have to deal with this, and they have made their positions transparent in their age group websites.

He sees what he wants to see in every comment, video or statement. He's got grade on the brain.

"Allow" doesn't mean force. You're seeing what you want to see -- again.

This is why we'd really need the email/original source to see what was really advised.

It's wild that age guy just ignores what he doesn't want to believe then trys to highlight the things that don't apply.

ECNL is saying that they want grade alignment. ie Aug Sept birthdays playing up on the team thats their grade in school.

"ECNL wants kids in their age groups but have advised its clubs to allow grade alignment if that means players have to play up."

What ECNL doesnt want is grade down players playing up on a grade older team.

"They don’t want kids the grade behind playing up if they are not a top 5 player on the older team."

This is all because ECNL doesnt not want misaligned players (either way, up or down)

And Aug guy seizes on a comment that's supported by second-hand info. This is not the first time. And it's a comment that's confusing and contradicts itself -- which is why what the actual advice (if it exists) would be determinative. Ya know, like all the ECNL FAQs that detail how'll they'll be case-by-case.

IF ECNL is embracing what you are saying, why not just say it, like a few USYS clubs actually have? They have a podcast. They are big on communication. Why be secret?

Like everyone has said multiple times to you. Clubs arent going to write anything down because they don't have to. Next season when top teams are all one graduating year people will figure it out and move on. If you’re an Aug Sept birthday and you want to play on a top team you play on the team that's your grade in school which might mean playing up.

If clubs weren't writing things down, we wouldn't have seen ...

Q: Can a player born between August 1 and September 30 play up if they are in the higher school grade?

A: School grade may be considered as part of the evaluation, but the decision to allow a player to play up is ultimately based on technical criteria including the player’s skill, maturity, and readiness for the older age group. Grade alone does not guarantee that a player will play up.

OR

Importantly, no player will be required to play with an older grade; top players may always choose to play in their newly defined age group if that is the best fit for them.

And reality will hit when those top misaligned B teamers practicing with the younger A team join said A team. Or maybe not, because you'll just deny it and see what you want to see.

Don't forget 5% or 1 player per team were misaligned last time it was SY.

Nobody seized on a comment. Another person (add to the list) has told you that clubs will group Aug Sept birthdays by grade which will mean that some players will play up.

I just like rubbing your nose in being wrong. Which will happen more and more as we get closer to fall/SY.

Because numbuts like you will whine about RAE. Do it this way and by the time people like you figure out whats going on everyone else has already moved on.

Yes, those parents on the Facebook threads you shared who were looking forward to their kids becoming the oldest on their team. Not everyone sees things your way. It's why flexibility is required/welcomed.

Except I'm one -- I'm not responding all the time -- of several countering how you are wrong a lot of the time. In fact, I've shared several examples that support how some agree with you, because I'm interested in what's really happening instead of what I think should happen (That FC Copa video, for starters). You're too much a troll to appreciate it.

Does the ECNL league go by grade or by calendar?
