I can only recommend not Game of Thrones if the reason you don't want it, is because you already saw it 
If you've already seen GoT, I've watched it and liked: the sopranos, sex and the city, the wire, Girls, and I personally liked newsroom though that's not everyone's favorite. I like the first few seasons of true blood a lot as well, but at some point I stopped watching it and never finished. I mentioned this in another recent thread but I'm currently very slowly (not binging) watching entourage. |

| Some of these shoes people are suggesting (sopranos, the wire) are so old. Yes, they’re good, but at this point not binge-worthy. Binge Big Little Lies. People are still talking about that one. You can educate yourself with Sopranos later, by watching them one at a time over a long stretch. |
