Spirit players were sent an email/letter this morning from Larry Best saying that after evaluating options to improve the Club—that they realize building a top class youth program was necessary. Some commitments that he offered was better internal operations,best in class coaching while keeping costs the same. I suspect that the younger teams (05 and 06) will continue to add players from other clubs. Players who are interested should be on the lookout for the pending ID sessions.

OK. So you're not implying there is some negative announcement coming, just that there may be additional news relating to the program and its operations (e.g., coaching staff; affiliations; etc.).

The strength of all teams is rooted in the talent of their roster....PRO or Academy level.

They MUST strengthen their Academy rosters, much like they did the Pro roster, in order to be competetive. They fully understand this.

Make no mistake, the leadership wants to turn the DA side into a very successful program.

So, I suspect change is coming. If not, nothing changes and the Academy doesnt up their competetiveness. Do you believe Larry and their new FCV staff will accept this? Doubtful.

A lot of investment in Spirit VA going away. It must hurt. No better way to sooth away that ache than spread more rumors.
