The morning after the debate RNC chair Ronna “Romney” McDaniel was on TV saying that she hoped Fetterman and Biden would be able to complete a full sentence when they next spoke. Sure showed her. |

That's because she completely ignored the 7+ min victory speech that Fetterman gave last night about 1:30am. If she bothered to watch, then she would have known that he was quite able to speak in sentences and communicate very effectively. |

Yes, he once was a respected cardiothoracic surgeon with many accolades and acknowledgements (including patents for heart saving devices and surgical techniques). But he gave that up more than 10 years ago and has barely been a practicing heart surgeon. Instead, he became a Hollywood celebrity more focused on making a buck than on actually relying on medical acumen. He promoted snake oil weight loss gimmicks, promised a homeopathic cure for the common cold and then the completely unsupported H-drug for Covid treatment. By 2018, a group of doctors asked Columbia University to remove him from the faculty of Columbia because of his lack of medical ethics and his disdain for trusted medical practices and evidence-based science. He appeared before a Senate panel questioning his medical ethics. He refused to answer whether he lied about the medicines that he hawked and make millions of dollars off of his credulous audience. This man should have his medical license revoked as he has clearly abused the Hippocratic Oath that he swore. He is no longer a real doctor; he only plays one on TV. |

That just shows how ignorant Americans are about dual citizenship! Many countries will not allow you to ever “give up” your citizenship. Once born, always a citizen. I know this because my DH is a dual citizen because he cannot give up his citizenship. He was threatened about losing citizenship there when he was drafted and refused to return to serve because he had his green card. The country eventually forgave all the draft dodgers so he could technically return now. That said, glad Oz lost! So not sure we need to educate the ignorant. Lol |

Anyone who survives medical school and surgical residency and spends decades saving lives gets to be a real doctor for the rest of their lives IMO. Your comment is the kind made by somebody who works in a cubicle and has very little experience with the real world. |

So the panel of his peers that requested Columbia University remove him from the faculty are cubicle workers with little experience in the real world? These were also very successful doctors who were faculty at Columbia University and petitioned the university board to remove him. I'm with them. He started out a star and ended up being a stain on Columbia University's medical faculty. |
