Here is what People are missing on the Woodson and Robinson game. Robinson has a strong offense, but lacks defense. Woodson has a strong defense, but lacks a strong offense. In my honest opinion, I think Robo will win in a tight one with a mid level scoring game. 10-7 Robo
Robo’s zone defense kept it close in Madison game by 2 goals and beat Battlefield by 1 so I wouldn’t agree their defense is weak. If anything, they play very aggressive defensively. The only team that picked their defense apart was Yorktown.
Robinson face guarded Battlefields best player and it was one of the best jobs I ever seen. But the score was 16-15 both teams had a bad defensive day. Scoring at will.
Robo is dirty and has attitudes. Kids see it all the time on their socials….
They sure did face guard her!! Hit her in the face with a stick many times, knocked goggles off, cross checked her in the back repeatedly.
Robinson Low defender #1, was the face guarded, and was a dirty player. Most referees will not allow that crap to happen. Look for strong referees tonight, and quick to squash the illegal play. The head of officials were notified and sent the film.
Need proof? Post your email here and I will be happy to share. Better yet, look on NFHS.
Robinson coaching staff clearly taught their players this. So, the blame starts there.
It's gonna be chippy and physical tonight with Woodson as they are ready.
