Yep. Pitiful.

When you continue to pay people not to work, they don't work.

Extended unemployment, rent moratorium, child payments, expanded food assistance.....all these have an impact to disincentivize work.

Actually, this is happening in states that have turned down the federal help. What do you got now?

Wow. I didn't know states could "turn down" a rent moratorium, payments to people with children and expanded food assistance.
Please elaborate on which states have turned down these things.

LOL, you aren't paying attention. The ones with Republican governors and state houses.

Wait, so if we had had 700k new jobs, then the complaint would have been omginflation....instead, it is a lower than expected which means, inflation is not going to be an issue, the fed action s sound AND it justifies the jobs program associated with the reconciliation bill.

I would call that a win.

President Donald Trump and the GOP racked up $5.7 trillion in debt between August 2019 and the end of his term in January 2021.

Remember this as the debate around the debt ceiling unfolds over the next few weeks.

So much for the inflation fears

To be fair, Biden only achieved this because Trump cratered the economy.

That makes the Trump-slobbering House GOP retweeting it even funnier.

And?

Maybe the US public likes presidents who DON'T crater the economy.

It’s the same old story.

Republicans keep bullying people with their “we’re fiscally responsible!” Bs.

Meanwhile, blue counties make 71% of the gdp and red counties make 29% And red counties outnumber the blue counties 5:1.

Our country is so messed up.
