More red counties. Less people in them |
|
And sadly, the voters forget every damn time |
Because the media is conservative and every time the same story plays out, instead of giving the (obvious, easily explainable) history and context, they both sides it like their lives depend on it. Lots of people pay only a glancing amount of attention (though many think they’re political experts), so when the media fails to explain that the GOP is playing chicken with everyone’s lives (again), they think that the Democrats can’t govern. Never mind the fact that the GOP has absolutely no interest in governing. |
Heck of a new jobs report. Over 500,000 blowing past expectations. |
Yup. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/10/06/adp-private-payrolls-rise-568000-in-september-faster-than-expected.html |
LOL, if the jobs were as expected, we would be hearing complaints about the overheated economy and inflation.
This job report basically means inflation is not an issue. And no, there aren't fewer jobs being filled because of the vaccine mandates. |
Huge miss-only 194,000 jobs added in September.
Private payrolls added 317,000, missing the expectation of 450,000. Government workers tumbled by 123,000, led by the loss of 144,000 government education jobs. As markets are digesting the unexpected results, stocks are in chaos and the dollar and bond yields move lower. |
Data was gathered mid-September when cases/hospitalizations were much worse than now. I expect this figure to be adjusted upwards > 100,000 next month - just like August’s numbers just were in this report. |
-healthcare workers too! |
There was no loss of government jobs. Schools employed 1.28 million more people in September than in August but the BLS seasonal adjustment based on history expected a bigger bump. |
