My kid finished Beauvoir (thankfully) so I don't care that it is admission season and i will say point blank THEY did NONE of the right things after they knew. I am waiting for the day for a new administration.

Because that's all that's going on with me. I have ZERO connection to Beauvoir, I'm just bored of you petty rejects taking it out on the school. Can't we talk about something else? ANYTHING? Cotillion season? The lack of a cafeteria at GDS? "Mean Girls" at NCS? How Maret manages to provide such so many courses to so few students? (That's the one I'd really like to know about, BTW. Given that you don't have anything to do with Beauvoir why bother reading this thread and commenting. For those of us who have anything to do with the Close community and are in the healing process, some of us need an opportunity to vent about this from time to time. By the way, this topic is by no means ancient. There are children from one of Toth's 3rd-grade classes who are still discussing his having boys sit on his lap. In addition to parents, our children have been scarred as they were betrayed by this asshole.

Why don't you go and post something more exciting in the cap cotillion or mrs. simpson thread. Not that you're interested: Flower Mart is coming up, maybe you can put up a post for a good lobster roll recipe.

I agree with these sentiments, please skip the thread if you don't like it. I have nothing to do with Beauvoir -- though I have friends whose children attended before this most unfortunate incident took place -- and I've found some of the posts illuminating. For instance, I had no idea Toth was on the FBI's Most Wanted. There is always the chance that some good will come of this public discussion, that a parent will speak up sooner or that a school (or camp or what have you) official will handle a situation differently.

I wouldn't mind an update from Beauvoir. It is kind of unbelievable that our "support" was limited to three letters and a free child psychologist appointment. I can't imagine it is entirely due to building a case. I just feel we were all left adrift. So for me, even though this thread is a reminder of something I'm trying to move past, it remains the only conversation any of us seem to be allowed to have on the subject. Anonymously that is.
