I thought Charlie Kirk was the one that said that gun violence was an acceptable cost for the right to own a gun. I'm very sad that he died, but he did say that, then he died for what he believed in.

I was concerned this incident would be used as pretext for a horrifying mass crackdown on innocent Americans, but then I realized this was a school shooting. It is always so sad when someone is violently killed, especially a parent of young children. Unfortunately this happens far too often in the United States. I extend my deepest sympathies to this man's family and especially his children. And to people present at the shooting. That must have been terrifying.
