Agree with the first dress. Blue shirt dress and third outfit are not appropriate.

I like 1 and 3.

Blue shirt dress is totally appropriate for a casual event!

I think this would be cute on her because she has nice arms and red is a pretty universally flattering color.

This was kind of like her RNC dress but the neckline is more polished and I think navy would be a better color for her. And again, she does have nice arms and shoulders.

I don't LOVE this material but I really think shift dresses are her friend and I would love to see her in this type of color. Cool and bright. Saturated rather than the muted she prefers.

She seems to like jerseys and other drapey/knit fabrics so I think this would work for her. This also comes in black which I feel like is a good color for her but I do want to see her experiment with color.

OMG, these are terrible choices!

What? The navy one is pretty and I had to copy and paste the other two links in but the chartreuse dress is also pretty (though I think I would prefer it in black).

DP, BR is terrible brand for someone so thin. The cuts are not fitted at all for someone of her proportions.

Is Usha that thin? To me she looks like a normal weight. Not fat but she's not rail thin like Melania.

I am the one who posted them and I am fairly petite (5'3") and they come in petite sizes and I've had good luck with them. Mileage may vary though. I think she is taller than me? I've only ever seen her next to JD who I think is supposedly 6'1"?

I like the long navy BR dress and agree the yellow MM dress would work.

Essentially her biggest issue is color and fit. She is going to be photographed a lot over the next four years and that will highlight any bad colors next to her face or any ill-fitted items.

Not to be mean, but you posted height not weight. I’m 5, 7 and BR was totally ill fitting on me until my early 40s.

A BBQ maybe but otherwise inappropriate.

She seems pretty thin to me. That’s also my explanation for why her face is so lined at a young age.

Oh lol that's not mean. I'm a Petite XS/2 at BR. Again, mileage varies. Just suggestions!

The frown lines are probably hereditary.

I would guess she's about 5'6" and 130-140 pounds. She is not super skinny.

I wonder if they'll get divorced in four years if he doesn't win the presidency.

That's how much of a rookie/unprepared she is for her role, she doesn't even have a headshot for the White House website.

She does indeed have a headshot on that page.

The single point of interest this dress/outfit has are those seams. That's it. So, with that being the focal point, you'd think someone would've cared enough about the one detail the dress had to pay attention to making sure it was correct.

My god. I would never in a million years have even noticed her seams. Never. Consider that this could be a you problem. It’s a great picture of her.
DP

DP and yeah, no. The seams are very noticeable. I blame the photographer, not her, but it looks amateur. The lighting is also not great for her. Again, that's a photographer issue.

The color of the dress is fine. She needs a scarf or pin though.

NO MORE CAMEL! Geez, are you being sarcastic?

That's why I said I'd have to see this in person. It may be too camel. It looks mustard on my screen.

Camel or mustard does not complement her coloring. She needs a winter palette.
Anonymous
If you look decent in mustard, you'll look fabulous in some other color.
