TS: "Hold my beer."

Why does Matty's mom keep speaking to the press? She also did this a couple months ago when TTPD came out. Like, super weird to be a 35yo man having your mommy tell the world how happy you are.

His mom is a host of a tv show in the UK.

This thread should be closed. There is no Matty and Taylor. They had a short fling. He never wanted her for a serious relationship and that should be obvious to Taylor now that he is engaged to another woman. I think Taylor is emotionally stunted. She imagines deep relationships and emotions that aren’t there out of short flings.

She cried on stage in May playing the surprise song “How did it end” (which is such a beautiful and sad song). Does anyone else wonder if that is when she heard the news of the engagement? They have been engaged since May so that timeline would fit.

These posts are delusional, just like Taylor is. Their relationship was never serious; it was a short fling. It’s embarrassing for Taylor that she wrote songs portraying their fling as some sort of great romance only for him to get engaged to the next girl he dated a few months later.

What a mess, at least in terms of PR - because Taylor only speaks about this stuff in her music, not in interviews, etc. We can’t know what really happened but the fact that she wrote an entire album about him and he got engaged immediately afterward - it’s going to land in an odd way for a minute or two. Hopefully people can forget the whole “Matty and Taylor” thing now. It doesn’t exist.

My gut tells me Travis is a PR relationship. They don’t make much sense and he’s milking the publicity. Who knows if the reports about him freaking out about marriage are true, but if they are then she should move on. I can see her with a world-changer but in a much quieter way - a businessman who is hugely philanthropic (like a Warren Buffet type) or a brilliant scientist or physician who does international work or something like that. Someone passionate but not a fame junkie like Travis seems to be.

Did she tell you personally how long they dated or were involved?

If no, then you don’t know how long they were involved.

NP. But pp could be closer to correct than you're giving credit. No one outside of them really knows how involved they've been.

She’s an artist. She likely dramatizes and uses her life for art. This is normal. Insisting that it’s a documentary is not. Why don’t you move along. Everyone else has

That song is clearly about Joe and exemplifies why this is all nonsense. Leave all of these people alone.

It’s totally crazy but you don’t get to dictate what people gossip about! Nor do you actually know it all! Wild! She is using her life as inspiration to make art. It’s allowed.

It's sort of like JLO's documentary and movie about Ben.

Taylor is still crying over Joe? Must be tough for Travis to watch her sing/cry over her Exes after almost a year together.
