Fake ones aren't.

I don’t’ understand. Please show me that the electors were not alternate and instead, were created after the fact as fakes.

Here are the fake electors in Michigan trying to enter the state Capitol, and the state police telling them they are not the state’s duly appointed electors. They aren’t because their candidate lost the state by 150,000 votes.

I can't get enough of that video!

The guy says they have elected officials and "electors" there. We know the electors are fake but who are the elected officials outside with them?

Some of the fake electors were also elected officials. Mostly state legislators. In Georgia, the now Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones was a state senator at the time he signed the fake electoral certificate and is an unindicted co-conspirator. The Michigan fake electors included a town clerk and a school board member.

Some of the fake electors were also duped by GOP elites. In New Mexico, they were told that their elector slate would only be used if Trump prevailed in court on election fraud. Essentially, they were a back-up slate.

Instead, NM GOP sent it in.

Look at the language in the NM electors document, it is much more hedged in terms of authority:

That’s stupid.

What is the enterprise?

It is a criminal conspiracy to commit numerous coordinated fraudulent acts for the purpose of illegally overturning the election of the presidential electors in Georgia and pressuring state officials to appoint their unelected fraudulent electors in place of the elected electors. That’s a criminal enterprise. Do you think they have to incorporate as an LLC to qualify as an enterprise?

That is not a criminal enterprise. You were being sarcastic, but yes, registering an LLC is pretty close. Getting together to commit a crime or crimes is not a criminal enterprise.
However, 5Georgia RICO is a little different, and this prosecutor managed to label Atlanta Public Schools as a criminal enterprise.

Blame the authors of the Georgia Rico statute.

The Georgia trial will not prevent anyone from voting on Super Tuesday (or any other day).

Try again.

From Twitter: “Trump’s purported Monday press conference intended to rebut charges in Georgia indictment may reportedly not be happening, after all.”

Who would have thought that Donald would announce something like this and not go through with it!

It made me very sad. All these stupid confused people who dress well and speak in measured voices, but are completely idiotic. I feel like something must be poisoning the world, causing what would have been upstanding citizens in the past to become gullible confused people who cannot tell childish fantasy from reality.

Yes. That was actually quite sad.

I understand deplorables falling for Trump but there needs to be a deep dive into how what would have been upstanding citizens in the past were able to be brainwashed by Trump and his people. I do blame Fox and alt-right media but I wish there were more research into it.

There’s been plenty of research into it. It’s deep, dark pockets full of money and absolutely no limits on who can own what or what they’re allowed to say (Fox/Murdoch empire, Sinclair stations) nor are they required to say whose interests they represent; they don’t even have to say that they’re not straight news. It’s the fact that the “mainstream” media represents billionaire businesses and the GOP that they fund. It’s Facebook working in tandem with Russia (and perhaps more than that, but that is the one that we know of and was proven) to craft personalized propaganda for every US citizen on Facebook.

It’s not Trump. It’s the GOP, and I wish people would start seeing the problem for what it is. Look at the fools on this thread trying desperately to find a reason why Trump wasn’t wrong and why RICO doesn’t apply. It’s horrifying to see what was once probably a normal, sane citizen talking like some propagandized buffoon.

So I guess all the RICO convictions of drug dealers should be stricken if they don’t have corporate by-laws defining their criminal enterprise. Per Stringer Bell, they know not to take notes during a criminal conspiracy.

If you really need one or more registered entities to qualify as an enterprise, which you don’t, both the Trump campaign and the Georgia Republican Party would fit as their leaders are indicted conspirators who directed the criminal and fraudulent actions of most of the other indicted conspirators.

Don't worry, it's rich people's jail. He won't be able to use that as an excuse.

That is a mob tactic. The rapist should be incarcerated for the rest of his short remaining life.

By that logic, anyone age 80+ could just go on a murder spree and if they get caught they just get grounded. There are some mean old people out there. Don’t give them ideas.

Apparently had Biden lost 2020, they planned to use a separate slate of electors:
