| No I am really really sorry this time I don’t have my fingers crossed |
| Stars Dad is off his meds again. |
| Probably a troll responding about being sorry, but it's sad to hear there was another incident. |
It is pathetic. |
| Looks like Pride may actually get a win or 2 this weekend at Summer Genesis. |
Pride is prepping for 3 top 20 teams in pool play actually. Stars gearing up for the 92nd and 75th ranked teams. |
Formula for being recruited to top college lax programs = play top 20 teams, be competitive in those games, but don’t worry about wins/losses. College coaches don’t look at the score, they watch players against good competition. Playing teams 50 and above will not attract a lot of attention. |
I coach a 24 team and no where near top 50. That said we had tons of coaches every tournament watching our players. Some of your statement true but don’t worry about teams your are playing. Good coaches can spot players no matter what’s going on. |
Agreed but something has to draw those coaches to the fields and if those teams are in brackets with 50+ they will most likely draw lesser attention from top programs. |
Nope, this is true. But it is very different in high school versus middle school. Things start to level out. And some of those 70 teams can compete with those top twenty teams. They may not win, but they will compete But this is a true statement. That is, if your kid Was a 25. No one even cares about the 26 and lower. No one odd watch out even looking at them |
Pride has very little chance to make the playoffs, Stars could get into the playoffs. Neither team will go far though, so the arguing over which is playing a higher ranked team is just that, arguing. |
Stars is the highest ranked team in their bracket by a wide margin. Stars should beat NEMS by 10+ and win all 4 games by 5 goals or more. Pride will test themselves against great competition a top 6 team. Better for their development. |
| Are Stars or Pride anticipating getting any new talent at their tryouts? |
Think the question is more about how many current Pride players go over and tryout for Stars in prep for Capital? |
They don’t need to go to stars to prep for Capital. They can go to the same middle school prep clinics regardless of their current club. Capital coaches have pride on their radar as well. No need to switch for 1 year. |
