No, different villa. One was in Noto, the other in Palermo. Italy has lots of villas.

I think it's funny in the post-show interviews that when asked which WL character they'd most like to vacation with, the actors say Tanya/Coolidge.

But what about the pre nup?

Pre nup is divorce right? We don’t know what’s in the will

Tonya is going to figure out what’s going down and she’s going to end up saving her ditzy little assistant. Mark my words. I wondered if there was something going on with the brooch, because it seemed like such a random detail to include. I think that the one Dominic bought for his wife and the one that the hotel manager bought for the girl at the same. It’s possible that Aldie will steal the brooch and pawn it or return it or something to pay off the prostitute, or that when the pimp dies it will be found on him and then it will be a question of how he got it. Did he get it from Dominic or from the hotel manager or from someone else? I also think that I’ll be might try to kill Cameron if he thinks that Cameron is going to hurt the prostitute

Oops Alvie kills Cameron, And remember than the last series the death was accidental. Maybe in this one it will be accidental as well

But why not do it already? Why draw it out.

I’m wondering the same. She could have “fallen overboard” while the “nephew” distracted Portia.

I think it’s because he has taken a liking to Tanya, thus the comment about how he couldn’t imagine a life without beauty. I think he is having second thoughts.

I don’t think so. That line seemed super sinister to me. I think maybe the villa is actually his but he’s run out of money and killing Tanya will get him enough to save it/stay in it. The life without beauty is what he’s facing right now, having run out of inherited money.

He definitely hasn’t taken a liking to her. He was making fun of her all day. Telling her the lady was the queen of Sicily, using the Brokeback Mountain story as his own.

I do think Tanya will make it out, and either she saves Portia or Portia dies. It seems like she’s warning Portia in the next episode about Essex boy but not in a very clear way, so I doubt Portia will listen.

I’m surprised that with all Tanya’s money, she doesn’t have better connections. There’s nobody she can call to swoop in and save her? Her helplessness makes me think there are a ton of people who cater to her in order to win favor. It would be great if she turned the tables.

So you think the story about the man he fell in love with is a lie?

I don’t think he was making fun of her saying it was the queen of Sicily, it’s just that when people are dealing with Tanya, it’s easier and perhaps kinder to let her enjoy her fantasies.

Yes. They said multiple deaths in first episode.

NP. I don’t. I think PP is right that it’s Tanya’s husband

Anonymous wrote:So Daphne’s children are from personal trainer, correct?

That's my guess.

Why do you think so? I thought that whole exchange was so strange. Like there is no personal trainer?

She made a comment about the trainer's blue eyes and then the kid in the pic had blue eyes.

There’s no actual trainer. Her kids are the trainer. She was implying that at the end of the day she spends more time with her kids anyway, that’s what helps her rationalize the dysfunction in her marriage, and that maybe Harper should look for something else to take up her own mindshare instead of obsessing over Ethan.

I disagree with this as the clear interpretation because Daphne then says “I’ll find it later” about the pic of her trainer. I do agree with you that the conversation is clearly implying that Daphne understands that her kids are the main thing she gets out of her relationship, but I think if that was all she was saying, she would just say that. She’s been pretty blunt with Harper on this subject and there is no reason for her to be fishy about it now.

I think another thing that might be happening is that she showed Harper the pic of the kids to remind Harper that Daphne and Cameron have kids, so maybe don’t try to blow up their marriage (by sleeping with Cameron to make Ethan mad, as it seemed she wanted to) or by telling Ethan to reject Caneron’s investment idea, which maybe they need to remain financially solvent.

I also think she was literally talking about her trainer and telling Harper to deal with Ethan’s infidelity by doing it herself.

I think it's ambiguous. I read it as her telling Harper that her kids are actually the trainer's. That also makes sense as a throwback to the conversation in an early episode about how they had struggled with infertility - i.e., maybe Cameron is shooting blanks.

But it also seemed like she was trying to send Harper some kind of message that the kids are what matters. Maybe both are true?

When she was at the villa and talked about Cameron’s infidelity, Daphne made a strongly stated that she is not a victim. She dies not want pity or for people to think she’s weak. I really do not think she’s banging her trainer. Not one bit, particularly how she was sort of zoned out after she showed the photo of her kids. I think she implied she’s screwing her trainer (and there likely is a trainer who is kind and a friend) so as to not seem a victim. She does love Cameron and wants a family life. She is 100% devoted to their kids and for her to show their photo also is implying to Harper she has her reasons for staying in the marriage. I think she picked up on Cameron hitting on Harper too so that was another reason…like “don’t do this. I have kids.”

The blue eyed blonde thing- I’m a dark brunette with two blonde haired blue eyed children. I do have blue eyes, but my dark haired, dark eye sister has 3 kids with blue eyes, and two are blondes like her husband. Blue eyes are recessive and dar hair/dark eyes can carry the gene for blue eyes. Daphne us fair with blue eyes. Why couldn’t her kids be as well?

^ so she implied she’s banging the trainer so Harper won’t judge her as a victim. The blue eyed comment was about those kids are everything. They are her heart.
