He has less than ten years of relevant experience. He is unqualified and was hired based on his alternative lifestyle. |
I see we have reached the point where criticizing the current president means you are a Russian agent. No, dear. There are millions of us who don't approve of anything he has done and we agree with pp. We are not Russian agents any more than you are a child predator. |
I am in agreement, Biden will not likely go down as a good President. But I feel that last really good President was George HW Bush. Clinton looks great compared to the ones we have had since then. |
Putin is in trouble. He’s been surprised by NATO’s unity, but now must save face. He made bold demands that NATO would never agree to and built up a grand military force on Ukraine’s border for leverage. But, instead of flinching, NATO has stood up to the Russian bully and Ukraine has shown great restraint, despite being baited by Putin’s false flag events in Donbas. If Putin backs away with nothing gained, he will look weak internationally and domestically. So, he will probably attack in some way to save face. The only problem with that is that gains from an attack are far from certain. If he gets bogged down in Ukraine, NATO can fund and fuel an unrelenting insurgency. The timeframe and outcome remain uncertain, but Putin might have revealed that he’s less a strategic maestro than a regional schoolyard bully. |
Obama was a very good President. Only President to be elected twice with more than 51% of the vote since Eisenhower. |
No, dear. It's not just the over-the-top anti-American pro-Russian criticism, it's that you are also using awkward vocabulary, syntax and odd word choices more fitting of a non-native English speaker. |
If this was a story, Putin would suddenly suffer from Novichok poisoning. |
Putin has to be unnerved by our intelligence. He’s totally lost the element of surprise. He is stalling an invasion both because he’s recalibrating the cost of invasion and because he doesn’t want US callouts about impending war to be right. Putin is weak. |
That theory exists and has some potential. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2517383/Russias-Vladimir-Putin-gay-claims-controversial-new-biography.html |
The intel is coming from his own military and national security apparatus, they are leaking intel because they feel it is unwise for Putin to try and cross a red line that will likely get them into a war that could seriously damage Russia. |
Right. War mongers have Putin’s ear and their suggestions mingle with his own desire to be a strong leader of an empire. However, Russia’s more prudent minds are urging caution: a miscalculated attempt at bravado could mean revealing a weak hand. |
