Give it a rest dude. I didn't write that glorious post that slapped you down a peg, but I wish I had. FCV may not be the size of Sting, but has a wealth of talent and has never been stronger as a club. Its probably the only club in the area that had a shot at a dual berth.

I don't think he is being a snob. Enjoy playing ECNL with BRYC. You should be proud that BRYC was the last girl in the bar for ECNL to hook up with.

You and sting...what is it with you. I can tell you know nothing about ECNL. ECNL was not taken away from FCV. They gave it up. (After being a founding member).

I knew this dude would surface again.

FCV clearly wanted ECNL, at least they tried to sell that Kool aid to parents in the beginning. some true believers here on this thread, claiming there was the possibility of both. Bah, ha, ha. yah right. they clearly had it taken away: as in they wanted it, tried to sell it, but couldn't have it, so yes they had to give it up. And you know ecnl .... that's why your here on DCUM. lol

You are nothing but a rookie with a keyboard. No real life experience to speak on. Just adopting other peoples opinions as your own original thoughts and then regurgitating them to the uneducated in hopes f winning a argument.

My child does play ECNL. That's how I'm able to spot a fraud like you. So if you actually want to learn something I suggest you sit down and raise your hand like a proper student.

FCV is a founding member of ECNL. Their former owner actually made it happen. FCV could have stayed in ECNL as long as they wanted to. However, the new owner applied and was awarded DA. They chose DA. Yes, they wanted to keep ECNL as well and tried to swing some deals to make it happen. However, they are not big enough to support both.

Now move on peseant

correction: your dd used to play ecnl at fc v

Do you even have a point? Because this works better if you actually have a point.

Youre the guy that wears white new balance and tight shorts. No need to argue with you anymore.

That works. Now you have time to put on your fav Spandau Ballet and relive your soccer glory days through your daughter who plays ECNL.

Ok, this whole thing is just getting a bit weird.

I really do not understand the fighting. For me, it is about my daughter. If she wants to play Encl, fine. If she wants DA, then that is fine also. Like i tell her, it is her decision since I will no longer play the sport. Her ability to play the sport, is not an extension of the quality of my parenting.

Anybody go the the Spirit info session? How was it?

Well that is just wrong.

The info night was good.

I agree. The whole thing was very professional, they have clear plans and expectations, and despite my misgivings about their administrative capacity -- stemming from our experiences with Super Y -- I think it's going to be a great program for the girls who made the teams. The fact that each girl will be assigned a pro or reserve player mentor is pretty cool. My daughter is wildly excited for next year.

This will NOT be Super Y. Their level of professional level commitment to the players is extremely impressive.

If I had a choice between attending a Spandau Ballet concert and enrolling my daughter in a Spirit program that would pair her with a pro or reserve Spirit player, I'd definitely choose the latter.
