The only photos of Ivanka from leaving "vacation" (are they ever not on vacation) show bad earrings and a nice ponytail.

Melania looks like she draped a bedsheet around herself.

Really? I like it. Looks perfect for a plane flight at the end of vacation, especially for someone who is chronically cold and needs to fly in an airplane kept at frigid temps for the overweight boss who always looks sweaty and flushed. The white boots have an outrageously high heel, but I'm not sure I mind them so long as I'm not wearing them. He hair also looks good.

Her face is looking really full, right?

I think that wrap is designed to try to disguise some weight gain.

Hey, look, Melanie - I'm in my late 40s, too. I get it. Course I never accused our first black president of being secretly born in Kenya so we aren't TOTALLY the same but I really don't care.

She looks stunning. The open sweater coming down the stairs shows zero weight gain. Her hair looks great and she actually looks better here than I think she’s looked for awhile.

I like Melania's plane ride outfit, with the exception of the hooker boots.

Her boots are “made for walkin’” and he looks ENORMOUS.

Is she embarrassed that Billy Porter wore those boots so much better at the Golden Globes?

https://www.eonline.com/news/1107536/karlie-kloss-reaction-to-a-project-runway-contestant-s-shady-kushners-comment-can-t-be-missed

The controversial comment came about after the designers were challenged with creating a Paris-worthy look for Kloss, using only materials found at Goodwill. Neasloney, who wanted to create "a very traditional like Montauk, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, Americana vibe," designed a ruffled top and pencil-skirt ensemble.

While Neasloney was proud of his work, having used only "four pairs of pants," the judges were left unimpressed. Here's where the shady comment came in…

"It's definitely wearable in some place that is neither Paris nor Montauk or Martha's Vineyard," judge Brandon Maxwell criticized. "I cannot see Karlie wearing it anywhere, honestly."

"Not even to dinner with the Kushners?" Neasloney confidently quipped.

Karlie Kloss is NOT a Trump woman and shouldn't be discussed on this thread. That comment by the contestant was uncalled for even though he claims he didn't mean anything by it.

why not? she is part of the family. I am sure what would take whatever advantages come with that.

+1. She married a Kushner. Presuably she dines with him from time to time. The contestant was totally fine to point that out.

I don't know who Kloss is but she sounds like a sensitive little biscuit.

And the ugly red cape Ivanka wore NYE was Brandon Maxwell, to close the circle.

There are a lot of pictures of Karlie Kloss socializing with the Kushners and Ivnaka. She is family whether she likes it or not.

Seriously? That pic of her coming down stairs tells a verrrry different story - her tummy is jammed up against her big ol' bosom. All those layers are doing her any favors.

And check out the bottom of Trump's shoe - worn down at the toe? Not the heel? Weird.

That is weird, and I think it is only caused by one of two things. First is someone who wears their shoes forever, but gets the heel part replaced (which is really easy) when it starts to wear. Possible, but doubtful -- Trump strikes me as the type that probably owns 10 of the same shoe., or just orders the same shoe over and over again from the same company. The second, more likely explanation, is that he jams or kicks his feet as a nervous habit. My kid does this and his shoes are always worn at the front. I think that's consistent with my general understanding of Trump, which is that he is astoundingly child-like in many of his behaviors (e.g., restrictive eating, inappropriate use of screens, poor anger management and thin skin generally, etc.). I guess a third possiblity is that it might be caused by a shuffling gait, like people get with adult onset hydrocephalus or after a stroke. I wonder if someone here with a relative that shuffles could provide insight into what their shoes look like.

Has anyone else noticed that Ivanks's outfits seem to be conforming more to the norms of Orthodox Jewish dress lately? Many of her recent outfits, for instance, the Little Red Riding Hood cape, cover up her shoulders, elbows, and knees. If so, she is doing the best she can within these constraints.
