A defendant is not legally prohibited from making false statements in his own defense. Carroll: and so um if you think of that as a clock around you where would uh at what point can you describe for the ladies and gentlemen of the jury where your badge would be?

It was on his belt. Who needs a clock? It’s left, right, or center around his waist. Also, Brendan answered 11:00. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

this was clear to me. 12 pm would be the zipper. 6 pm would be your bum.

For a right handed shooter the firearm is at about 3 o’clock.

this is a common knowledge topic people that carry a firearm. carroll doesn’t strike me as a having this kind of knowledge either. if anything it indicates that bb was very involved with his prep.

the trivial error is that he wore his belt badge at 11 o’clock on his left.

the purpose of the belt badge is to be very near the firearm so that if people see the firearm they also see the badge.
