Looking at the war in Ukraine as a guide to what modern warfare is like, an air force isn’t necessary to obliterate soldiers. More than 80 percent of casualties are now caused by cheep drones. And Iran is very advanced when it comes to drones.

It is very unfortunate that Trump and Hegseth ignored the generals and launched this breathtakingly reckless war. It’s not 1990 anymore. The battlefield has changed. There aren’t any good military options in 2026.

Because it is total surrender and suicidal. I mean we did not even get this from Afghanistan after twenty years of warfare.

After 20 years of bleeding America's blood and treasure in the primitive backwater of Afghanistan, we accomplished replacing the Taliban with the Taliban.

The idea that we are going to get Iran, a relatively advanced country of 90M people, to agree to unconditional surrender of this type is laughable. We have no plan other than do whatever Israel tells us to do ...

According to Press TV, the Iranian official outlined five conditions under which Tehran will agree to end the war.

They include:

An end to “aggression and assassinations”.
“Concrete” guarantees preventing the reoccurrence of war against Iran.
Payment for war damage and reparations.
End of war on Iran and against “all resistance groups” across the Middle East.
Recognition of Iran’s sovereignty over the strait of Hormuz.

Yes, Ukraine has demonstrated that cheap drones can inflict large amounts of damage. The rules are entirely different now.
