The bible /Old Testament talks only about the people of Israel because the prophets, kings, rabbis, and people of Israel wrote it and maintained it and wanted it so.

Jesus was for all mankind not just Israel and that’s when the schism happened. The Jews are still waiting for their messiah to come and these wars are supposed to be the way. Christians are waiting for Jesus to return and these wars are supposed to be the way.
