Nice try OP. There is no F Street in the SE part of Capitol Hill.

Next time you lie, you should check a map first.

My mistake E and 8. It's an apartment building.

The child lived in the capitol east apartment building. No lie. It happened. The anecdote is TRUE!!! My bad for getting the intersection wrong and creating so much uproar!

This thread has sunk to a new low. Hope Jeff shuts it down. It's going nowhere, like Ludlow Taylor.

There was a time when anyone voicing a critical opinion would be shouted down as a communist or, earlier, as a witch. On DCUM just replace that with "racist."
Anonymous
please shut it down. It is a breeding ground for hate.

How is this a breeding ground for hate, when it is anonymous. Now, if this same conversation was held at an open public forum at an H St. establishment, then freedom of speech would be yelled. These are not racist discussions but ostritch with their heads in the sand reactions. This is a city and not a town...so stop acting like we are becoming an One City but instead we're a City of one; which doesn't include you.

+1.

Please take a rest from this thread all of you. There's nothing to say about LT that hasn't been said here. Wait to talk to the Ward 6 DC Council Member about LT late next year. Nothing much will change in before the election.

On a happy, lighter note- a really great picture of LT students is on DCPS website banner!

And the exterior paint job is making rapid strides. If we're going to have a crappy IB school crammed with kids who don't live anywhere near Stanton Park, let's have a decent looking one. Bring on the new windows, the kind one can actually see out of.

If we build it, they will come. Unless you've gone inside, met the principal, observed the classrooms.

Huh? Build it with a new principal? How? DCPS likes Cobbs.
