2026 Private School Boys Lacrosse Commentary, Scores, and Updates

Was at Bullis v Gonzaga tonight. Bullis looked good, but Gonzaga looked below average. In particular on offense. 2 supposed all DMV offensive players, and they got eaten up. I’d take every Bullis middie over Gonzaga’s middies, and at least one attack. Bullis shared the ball and manufactured some easy ones don low. Gonzaga had no offensive plan at all. Surprising.

DM the one hit wonder.

Three offensive coaches and you can only score 5 goals after third string? The suspension of the head coach by WCAC seems like a non-issue.

What was he suspended for?
.

Looks like for being a fraud - It was easy to be “Coach of the Year” with his 2025 roster. They may not make the playoffs

And it wasnt even that close - Gilman emptied their bench and DM still had no answer.

Complete fraud- regardless of recruitment violations- cant get kids to throw the ball and catch. Brings friends in as “assistant coaches”- no one has credentials. Toxic environment.

SJC over BL
Landon over St Paul’s
Prep over Loyola

Yeah but it looks like Gilman torched your WCAC champs, so DC may not be all that.

No. It’s over. Crown them.

If you’re basing DC on DM who had 19 seniors last year and no one else was playing because of the coaching, sure.

How many more seasons does King last at Gonzaga?

The purple eagles are regressing.

The Hilgy regime at Georgetown Prep is off to a great start, 3-0, all quality wins over MIAA opponents. (St. Mary's, Gilman, and Loyola)

The top 3 in the IAC appear to be strong again this year; GP, Landon, and Bullis are off to good starts.

The IAC will test itself this weekend in the annual IAC vs Inter-Ac challenge hosted by Episcopal HS this Spring. Some noteworthy games to follow on Saturday.

Landon vs Malvern prep
Bullis vs Haveford
GP vs Episcopal Academy

PVI and Bullis for the DMV crown

More Bullis homers/parents this year.

Definitely a strong start for DC among the top tier schools: Bullis, St. John’s, Prep, Landon, and PVI all appear to be solid with GC just behind them. Seems like a wild gulf between those six and everyone else.

GC really missed an opportunity losing to Bullis

Recruiting violations. DMing kids on instagram who wouldn’t go to DeMatha over their local public school. Although the suspension does not start until conference play.
