10-8 Bullis

Bit of a letdown game for Bulldogs but they scrape out a win against a weaker opponent. STA just will never compete on this trajectory.

Has Speaks been fired yet?

Their score in OT was pretty much their best play of the game.

Landon looked to me to be quite a bit smaller physically. They were quick, but small.

Crowd was 20% the size of those in the heyday of this rivalry.

I blame the black cleats worn by a bunch of Landon players. A TERRIBLE look.

Prep won the faceoff 80% of the time, I’m not sure how they didn’t win by more. Landon offensively looked better than Prep when the Bears had the ball.

Another classic rivalry game between these two programs.

These two will meet again next Tuesday night at Prep in the IAC semifinals.

That's notl happening.

He needs to start playing for next year and play some guys on the bench. The offense can't score and the defense is giving up too much.

Pretty good goalie sitting on the bench. Maybe he provides a spark.

Speaks is an average coach. Great recruiter and that’s about it. Toxic program

Nothing toxic. it's lax. relax.

The WCAC and IAC playoffs will be very fun to follow.

In the IAC, Bullis I'd give the slight edge to, but after watching the Prep - Landon game this afternoon, it's really anyone's guess. Bears and Hoyas looked strong today.

In the WCAC, the ship is between GC, PVI, SJC, and even GZ (yes, I wouldn't rule the Eagles out). All of these teams have their own unique matchups with one another.

Looking forward to the playoffs starting next week!

SJC on paper should be beating everyone with their 20+ college commits. From watching the game the offense looks weak, and Defense is giving up easy goals. Something else is going on besides talent.

What makes you think SJC should be beating everyone with their 10+ college commits?

The Cadets are not particularly well-coached. Half of these kids who commit to play in college don't ever see the field at the collegiate level. Looking at comparative results throughout the season, SJC hasn't really improved since mid-February.

Good Counsel looked excellent last night and looks like a different team when I watched them play in late March.

All the SJC kids playing in college now all get minutes and are contributing to their teams so no idea where that is coming from? GC seems to be playing their best lacrosse at the right time, wouldn't be surprised if they shock everyone and beat PVI on Friday. I think SJC problem is players worrying about reels instead of playing team ball. They need to get off the social media and lock in for playoffs. Both IAC and WCAC playoffs are going to be outstanding and look forward to some great lacrosse next week. Don't think Speaks is going anywhere especially after the 2030 class he secured.
