Trying your patience? How odd.

You are fully capable of ignoring threads about them, not thinking about them, and saving yourself the emotion of being angry about them.

You don’t do that because you enjoy shit posting about them. At least, admit that.

I promise you that well-adjusted people don’t go looking for people who “try their patience.”

Why are you guys so desperate to defend them? I'm genuinely curious - I don't see any other thread about any other celebrity get people who defend them so zealously. This is an anonymous chat board. I find it fun to take a few minutes of my life to snark on these objectively annoying yet entertaining rich people who have no bearing on my life.

No one here is defending H&M. What people are pushing back against is the unusual fixation people have for disparaging and ridiculing Meghan. This fixation is not normal.

It’s also not normal to stage a paparazzi chase , put out an exaggerated press release for attentions, and purposefully try to trigger your husbands PTSD by attempting to create a situation that parallels how his mother died.

The driver said they were only in the car for 10 minutes and he never felt afraid. It wasn’t the Hollywood movie car chase they alleged.

In short: they lied.

They are either crazy or they were trying to create a story to garner attention. Both options are sad.

They need to go live a quiet life somewhere if they are truly afraid or if they want privacy. Plenty of legit celebs manage to live quiet lives elsewhere.

Or they need a life coach to help them become more resilient…and a better PR person to help them avoid coming across as whiny and selfish.

You have no proof to support the nonsense you just wrote. It's all in your head. Get back on your meds, please.

No.

In the other level of ridiculous: the complaint that no one from the Palace has called Sussexes to sympathize. Comes from Omid Scobie, and clearly he has been briefed by them directly, or by their team.

Imagine this conversation: and they didn't even call us! Daddy never cared!

I thought they didn’t want anything to do with the BRF?

Agree that this is really getting ridiculous. I've been mostly neutral about the couple but this level of whining is really costing them sympathy, fast.

Exactly. Pick a lane.

I am loving the response from BackGrid to their demands to hand over the footage: Honey, you're in America, and here we don't have royal privileges. Suck it up.

This story has moved off the front page so it clearly didn’t have legs.

There is just a good deal of circumstantial evidence — the statements from the NYPD, mayor, cab driver, back grid being a know “pay for photos” tip off agency, no people reporting this “aggressive chase” to the police, no photos from people on the street of this “aggressive chase”, no call from the sussexes to 911, conflicting reports basically from all sources not paid by them, the only reckless driving report their own trailing SUV. I look forward to the traffic camera videos that I hope the nypd shares. Thanks Meg-bot for your response.

Wow. Public opinion of them in the US has really changed. At the time of Oprah ppl were just lapping up everything they said.

Not true. They are hated here by online troll and monarchists there. The account here is being twisted, no mention of chase before cab ride, twisted words ( no one ever said high speed chase), etc. They didn't do anything wrong. They were chased, they didn't want people at their door step, they didn't exaggerate anything. But all the trolls are. The interesting thing isn't the incident, it's the aftermath, just like the book. It's you, not them. You'll eventually get tired of it. Now go watch Kate play the palace piano for 30 seconds in a gown. Then go get a hobby.

Huh? The whole thing started because of their *own* statement about a “near catastrophic car chase”:

”Last night, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi,” the couple’s spokesperson said.

“This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.”

And it was accurate. Note all the hyperbole trolls put in that wasn't actually ever in the press release. No high speed chase. Yes, it was 2 hours, yes there were 2 NYPD officers. No one there were actual collisions. You are accusing them of lying about things that were never said.

They did say it was "near catastrophic". You want hyperbole? This is it.

It was near catastrophic for the pedestrians that were pushed off the sidewalk due to the motorcyclists driving in the wrong direction. Ask me how I know that a pedestrian can be killed by a reckless motorcyclist.

Right, they were in that guy’s cab for 10 minutes, and were stuck behind a garbage truck, still surrounded by paparazzi. No one is disputing that. Before that they were in their own suv and *that* driver has also spoken out to go along with H&M’s story (yes i know, he’s on their side, don’t bother replying with that argument). If the paparazzi have footage that disputes the whole story, they would have sold it to a tabloid by now. Strike while the iron is hot, no? Like a pp said, most of the world has moved on from the story, yet here we are.

I think it is a reaction to the posters that do the opposite. The animosity some posters on this board and, apparently, others have is mind boggling.

^ This. I despise internet bullying and that’s what many of these posters are. It’s their inner mean girls coming out and it makes you wonder if they are this mean to others in their daily lives. Internet bullying can be very harmful to the recipient.

Good grief woman. You’re horrible. If you are trying to debunk something, at least get your facts right and stop regurgitating lies. The taxi was the second car that eventually was asked to return to the police station.
