Hilarious that they failed to mention that boosters provide little effectiveness for those 18 to 49 - one can only imagine how little they provide for those 12 to 17.

Prior infection has shown it works better than vaccination. These people trying to avoid COVID are only prolonging the pandemic. They need to stop their selfishness.

This is misinformation and you should stop spreading it. It is foolish to GET the virus in an attempt to protect yourself from the virus. You are rolling the dice each time re whether you will get a serious case, get long covid, whether you will wind up at risk from future conditions such as heart problems, stroke, diabetes, decreased immune system responses in being able to fight off cancer, etc. The vaccines advantage is that when you get it it results in none of these negative conditions and is purely protective. (Absent an incredibly small number of people who react negatively to vaccines.) Any time you get covid, you are taking a gamble, especially if you manage to get exposed to a large dose of the virus.

Well that's a new one. The people who are doing the right thing and trying to minimize the spread of Covid are the selfish ones here? That MADE MY DAY. thank you for the laugh.

That's because so many in other zips got it back in January! 9 cases at a school is nothing compared to 100+ that were at schools the first two weeks of Jan.

Isn't it pretty to think so, though?

Cases are happening in the laptop class areas, whose parents don't have to work in person. The biggest forced child mask fanatics at APS live in 22205 or 22207.

Don't think that's true from what folks are reporting about 22207 schools being comparatively mask free at this point (except for teachers) and remarks here by some 22207 parents against masking their kids further. Go fish.

22207 is the land of APE and the antimaskers (mostly the same people).

I know several families at Nottingham whose kids are currently out with covid. None of them are anti-maskers (although they have very little control over whether their kids wear masks at school now that the mandate is gone).

That's hard with young kids. I feel like APS went overboard with not allowing teachers to say anything about kids wearing masks at all, so teachers can't even remind a little kid to put their mask back on after lunch or recess when they know the parent wants them to wear it.

Our school was very specific - teachers/ staff cannot enforce your home mask policy at school. I agree that is too much to ask of teachers - they can't be expected to keep up with every parents' whim on the issue.

No, it's forbidden by state law. There's 0 solid studies showing masks work in schools. 0.

You forced mask fanatics are ridiculous, wanting teachers to say things to little kids. Disgusting.
