Thanks. That is so tragic. I had to look it up. Good for Chen speaking up about such brutality.

China has been accused of committing crimes against humanity and possibly genocide against the Uyghur population and other mostly-Muslim ethnic groups in the north-western region of Xinjiang.
Human rights groups believe China has detained more than one million Uyghurs against their will over the past few years in a large network of what the state calls "re-education camps", and sentenced hundreds of thousands to prison terms.
There is also evidence that Uyghurs are being used as forced labour and of women being forcibly sterilised. Some former camp detainees have also alleged they were tortured and sexually abused.
The US is among several countries to have accused China of committing genocide in Xinjiang. The leading human rights groups Amnesty and Human Rights Watch have published reports accusing China of crimes against humanity.

I just found this out a couple weeks ago. I watched the first episode of that peacock docuseries about the big mess in SLC (that I think Tara executive produced). I got interested in what had happened to all of them.

Jamie cheated on David with her partner, a hockey player, on a Canadian reality show. She is now married to the hockey player. No idea how David and Katia met or why she and Ilia broke up. So, so interesting

It is a way to radio up points. It changes your center of gravity, so it gets higher scores.

The Russians aren’t the only ones, but they did seem to be the first to exploit this for extra points

Of course they did- this way the blame doesn’t fall on them. And I have no doubt that if they expect her to say this, she will say it.

American men won gold and silver in the freestyle jumping - well done!!!

I wish the event would take the rail part out though and just have the 3 jumps - the rails derail lots of skiers and are not exciting to watch - just relief if they make it through … the jumps are often astonishing feats when they work.

She isn’t going to be say jack. It’s all up to lawyers, iOc and Russian puppet masters now. But china/ IOC is in bed with Russia so don’t hold your breath.
