What's your controversial food opinion?

The American soda sizes should be ILLEGAL! One cup. That is all you need. Who in their mind drinks buckets like big gulps? That takes a horse size of stomach.

I want to buy milk raw, fresh from the farmer to the store..
milk that is not heat treated.... not ultraPasteurized.. not Pasteurized, has no vitamin D added etc..

I want my milk to be what it is, I don't want anybody to tell me that I can not have real fresh from the cow meat and that I need a random amount of
god only knows where sourced vitamin D in my cupper of milk.

Iodized salt should have warnning that is not good for everybody. Many people have thyroid issues that are warranting stay away from any iodide
and they don't even know they are hurting themselves.

Stevia sucks. Go Caine sugar!

carob sucks.

Sweeteners suck.

I hate all sugar substitutes as they help with one thing and hurt with tone more.

I mostly agree except for biscotti which are inedible unless dunked in coffee.

Yes AND the milk is undrinkable with crumbs in it! GAG.

Agree. I went through a period of mistakenly buying sparkling water (ZERO calories!) with stevia in it, not prominently stated. Thank goodness the industry veered away from that. I can safely grab a flavored sparkling water and it won't have that garbage in it.

This is not a food opinion, it is a "people are stupid" opinion. And that is not remotely controversial.

Soda is disgusting. It's too sweet, it leaves a sticky, nasty residue/taste in your mouth, the flavors are chemically, and really has no redeeming quality. Diet soda is the worst - it has all the grossness of regular soda plus a disgusting aftertaste.

I have been having major Taco Bell cravings lately, and I haven't eaten there in probably 30 years.

This was the same for me, and I finally went, and it was....disgusting. I was so bummed.

Oooh Taco Bell is one of those things that can only be eaten on weekends, preferably in the evening after you’ve had really good sex with someone you love, sitting together on the couch in sweats watching old TV shows.

We joke that my husband knew he needed to propose to me when I requested a post-coital Taco Bell run one weekend. We don't get it very often, they keep taking my favorite thing off the menu (long live the enchirito!), and it has a shelf-life to rival McDonald's french fries... but sometimes you just need a run for the border.

RIP the Double Decker. And the chili cheese burrito.

Ha! The chili-cheese burrito is my husband's enchirito. There used to be a TB near us that would make take off-menu orders for them, but, alas, no longer.

As long as there are food-insecure people I will not be a "foodie." I will eat simply and use some of the money saved to support hunger-relief organizations.

And MSG. Learn to love it.

These are people who don't know squat about cooking.

I put Vegemite in my Bolognese. Same same. It’s delicious.

I met him in passing, as a nobody. He was friendly, warm, and spent a few minutes talking to me and my young sons. I think he's the real deal. The WCK certainly is.

I hate foodies.

White chocolate is not chocolate. This is the hill I will die. If there's no cocoa solids, then it's not for me. White chocolate only has cocoa butter, lies, sugar, and sadness. It was a disgusting way to get rid of cocoa butter back in the dawn ages before people gave a crap about fancy skin care ingredients. Just say no.

Also dark chocolate is superior to milk chocolate and I'll fight anyone who says different.

I like you.
