After the first few goals, looked like Saints defense really settled in and made it tough for SJC to get anything clean-- shots felt rushed, off, and weaker than i've seen. On the SSSA side, honestly didn’t see a weak link on offense. They looked way more connected than I remember last year, moving the ball well and not playing hero ball. Not sure exactly who the underclassmen were, but they’ve definitely got depth.

This season, the spotlight is on the Saints underclassmen—talented young players who are stepping up after some members didn't meet expectations last year. With key personnel changes made during the offseason, they're now headed in the right direction, thanks to their new teammates taking the lead.

SR livestreams all home games on hudl.

Too many mental errors. Biggest one was they drew a yellow card but almost immediately threw it away and then NDP scored man don.

Is this for real? The new teammates are taking the lead? And finally they are headed in the right direction? There are only a handful of new teammates, and all but one returning player is committed. Let me guess…you’re a parent of a “new teammate”?

+1

Six underclassmen on the roster. Four won’t play much through absolutely no fault of their own. So that leaves two underclassmen to lead the way. Which parent are you??? By the way, everybody already knows….you’re making quite an impression.

Pretty sure SSSA have 15 seniors. Not sure the spotlight is on any underclassman when only TWO of their younger girls play, and the seniors and one standout junior really run the show.

Didn’t meet expectations? Your sophomore is taking the lead?? I don’t think so…

Duh - She's been commenting here for the last 5 days about how great an addition her child is pretending to be different posters.

One of their starting midfielders transferred out last year.
She went to SSSAS… She was a welcomed addition to the program and will thrive there as long as doesn’t force shots makes smart plays and feeds fast to get the ball to cutters by not hanging on the the ball too long.

Is this the one who's been on 5 club teams in 3 years?

There is a player on SSSAS on her second high school and fifth club in three years? That can’t be true? Can it?

Yes. Her mom is the one posting about her leading the team.

To the Saints upperclassmen: you’re doing an excellent job holding down the fort. I understand that at times you might miss open teammates on the field, so remember to stay alert for signals from the spectators, especially when you hear, “LOOK AT LARLA!” That’s your cue for where to pass the ball.
