Unfortunately no... And yes, very unusual. |
| Pride 2028 red was off this past weekend. |
0-6-2 for Pride and Stars at LLL, not good at all. |
| Hopefully both teams will be able to rebound at their next set of tournaments. |
Indeed. Stars looks to have some winnable games this weekend at Lax for the Cure. Pride has the challenge and privilege of playing 3 top 15 teams, including #1 Coppermine, #5 Heroes Green . |
Stars doesn’t go to Lax for the Cure |
Good point. Was reading ahead to Hershey. |
| There is a rumor that a certain Stars parent was kicked out of their tournament game today. So glad he was sorry and going to change after the last incident. |
oh boy... |
False |
| False about the apology or false about getting kicked out? |

New to this thread but seems as though there’s a lot of mid slinging going on.

Fax. Card and asked to leave. |
It's an interesting thread. Some good information about tournaments, clubs, etc. Appropriate rivalry and ribbing among DMV teams. Interesting discussions on high school choices, etc. Then it also has some weird obsession with denigrating other clubs and suggesting there will be an exodus to one team or another. Hasn't happened, but it's a recurring them. And an occasional public outing of a out of control parent, with subsequent apology and reacceptance--or refusal... A lot going on. |

Honest question: what is Stars 28 LB's strategy on scheduling for tournaments? They are once again in a lower bracket at Summer Genesis Origins, and scheduled to play teams ranked, on average, 29 places below them.
And they played MC Elite, which is in free fall according to another thread, and South Coast, last week. Both are outside the top 100. How are they going to test themselves and improve against that level of competition? Lots of talk in the DMV about it being a good time to move to the "up and coming" Stars program; just not seeing how they are challenging themselves and developing their players after a decent NGLL season where they beat the 14th ranked Sky Walkers, among others. |
