1 on Florida too, unless you are someone that doesn't consider GC a DMV school.

Not following here, but it seems like a Baltimore/HOCO parent continually shading DMV players/commits for not playing for only top 5 schools? If that is the case, that parent should be embarrassed and move on....these are children.

Yes, pathetic. Super selective too as they try to throw shade. All you need to do is look at the 29 NCAA tournament teams, there are a lot of players and local commits to those schools. Something this area should be proud of - sending so many players to good teams and programs.

BC, SU, NU doesn't seem to recruit this area much. It is great to see a local girl going to Maryland.

Thanks, Michigan commit dad!

100% agree. Whoever this parent is, I feel sorry for their kids.

Agree with the sentiment but these aren’t children. The players being discussed are young women - 17 or 18 and up once committed and playing in college. Let’s not be overly dramatic.

True. The poster is a child, or should I say has the EI of one.

I'm not being overly dramatic. They are by continually minimizing anyone who doesn't play for the top 5 schools. There are lots of excellent lax players who don't play for the top 5 schools. There are lots of excellent programs. We saw that this year with all of the upsets. And, no, I don't have a kid playing in college so I don't have any skin in this game. I just think parents like them are ridiculous.

Agree 100%...an adult continuously taking down high school girls (can we agree on that term) for not playing at the schools that one adult considers the "top schools" is actually pretty sad, and not the point of this forum.

You can argue good or great school for academics and/or lacrosse, but it needs to be a good fit on both fronts. Some great players may not want D1, because D1 is a job.

The recruiting concern is if the club is not preparing the kids for the process and helping them through the ups and downs. The Metro v. Pride numbers show the preparation and dedication of the club.

Any updates here?

Sorry but the pp is wrong when it comes the generic statement that VA Metro is dedicated to recruiting or the process. I would say the opposite

I assume some Pride A and Cap B should be committing soon. Waiting for NESCAC, maybe?

This is ridiculous. Notre Dame is amazing d1 college. Period. If we are in the weeds such that Notre Dame is considered a bad option, this board is seriously messed up. And I could say that for a lot of schools out there.
