We visited UVA this weekend...

And I was not impressed. Driving through town, past the frat and sorority houses was shocking. They looked like drug dens / flop houses with sheets tied up on some of the windows. On Sunday afternoon, the bars with seating outside were packed with students boozing. And this was around 4pm / 5pm. Completely tragic.

And you think students aren't at the pubs on a weekend?

Brits are universally known as drunks.

Not everyone likes every school. It's good to get out there and see the possibilities to gauge whether they meet your child's needs.

Now you can narrow your list, since you didn't like this school. There are so many schools out there, I'm sure you'll find some that are more to your liking.

Good luck to you and your child, and enjoy your time together before college!

Did your teen like UVA? Is there an academic program at UVA that your teen is interested in studying? Hope you have a chance to visit several universities, and good luck finding a fit. Not always easy.

OK, so don't go to UVA, and don't send your child there. Problem solved!

No one there will miss you/your family. I'm sure they will manage just fine without you.

UVA thanks you for stopping by.

I'm not saying there isn't drinking in Williamsburg--there sure is--but maybe the smaller, more serene atmosphere of William and Mary would tickle your fancy.

You're completely moronic.
