I was wondering the same thing. I think Wint is playing his cards well. |
Next status hearing is 9/30 at 9:30 am. Did you see this interesting article? Some additional interesting details.

The article above states Wint's sister claims Wint was friends with Savvas, and/or had previously done work on his home. That was the first time I read that. Who knows if it's true |
If that bastard goes free, it would be awful. I would hire a hit man to take his ass out if that were the case, those poor girls who have to live with this... |
Was there a hearing yesterday? I can't find anything about it. |
I Doubt it. These attorneys always come up with last minute excuses for why the defendant is just so unable to attend the hearing, and then it gets delayed for months. |
It was continued until Oct 28 due to "outstanding discovery issues". Does anyone know what that means? |
How is Wint affording his defense? His lawyers seem fairly savvy and legit. They seem to be better than your typical overburdened public defender. |
I hope he's got a great defense. Less chance of appeal. |
This case is really making me slightly crazy, and I'm not sure why. Just because it was so awful and I worry DC won't prosecute it correctly?
I drive by the house sometimes and noticed some work going on this past week - ductwork removed, for one thing. I do think this will be an asterisk on Lanier's career here if justice is not served. |
The WaPo posted an update today. Not much of one, but apparently they don't expect this to go to trial until 2018. 2018!!
My heart aches for the girls. |
