He pleaded guilty and is due back in court on May 20, 2016. Family members of the deceased were in attendance for the 20 indictments.

I believe he pleaded NOT-guilty.

So was there just not enough evidence to indict the others in the car and truck when they got caught? Isn't it accessory after the fact?

If they were in communication with an attorney and were bringing him (the defendant) in to custody (which they were), there is no accessory charge.

So did he plead guilty or not guilty? Where did you get this info. I can find very little...it is so strange. Does anyone know if this case will be televised and where he will be tried...it can not be in DC they will never get a jury! So frustrating ...

He pled not guilty and requested a jury trial. The next status hearing is set for May 20. You can follow the court proceedings at http://www.dccourts.gov/internet/superior/main.jsf
On the right side of the page under ONLINE SERVICES, click on "Court Cases Online." Then, on the right side of that page, under QUICK LINKS, click on "Search Cases." There you can enter his name and see the case details.

I find it hard to believe that he is the only one to have been charged; there is no possible way he was the lone assailant here.

Which means other accomplices to this horrendous murder are walking free among us each day in D.C.

Anything new? Why does it take so long to get to court?

It's not about how long it takes to go to trial. It's that it's quite unlikely that the suspect accomplished all of that evil on his own, and yet no one else has been arrested.

I have been thinking about this case for the pst few days.

I have this bad feeling that DC is somehow managing to screw this up. Does anyone believe he acted alone?

How has it gone on this long with so little information becoming public?
I want to believe our justice system works reasonably well some of the time. I was elated when they identified this guy from the pizza - but since then, I've just not felt confident.
